I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Saint Ignoto Bright 1 Bedroom Apartment by Reside Baltic, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The name’s a bit of a mouthful, right? But once you’re standing on Šv. Ignoto street in the heart of Vilnius Old Town, you sort of forget about all that. The building itself has that weathered Baltic charm – you know, the kind where you can practically feel centuries of history in the cobblestones under your feet. What struck me immediately was how quiet this little street actually is, considering you’re literally in the thick of the Old Town. I mean, you’re maybe a three-minute walk from Cathedral Square, but somehow the tourist chaos doesn’t really penetrate here.

The apartment itself is… well, it’s exactly what it says on the tin – bright. Those windows facing the street let in this gorgeous morning light that bounces off the white walls and makes the whole space feel bigger than it probably is. The bedroom’s got enough room to actually unpack your suitcase (thank god), and honestly, after staying in some pretty cramped European city apartments, that felt like a luxury. The kitchen area is small but functional – I managed to make proper coffee and even attempted some local rye bread breakfasts I picked up from the market on Pilies street. Speaking of which, you’ll want to hit that market early because the good stuff goes fast, especially on weekends when half of Vilnius seems to show up.

Here’s what I really appreciated though – the check-in process was refreshingly straightforward, none of that awkward “meet someone in a random café with keys” situation I’ve dealt with before. The Reside Baltic folks seem to have their act together, which matters when you’re dragging luggage over those old cobblestones. The WiFi actually works (not always a given in these historic buildings), and the shower has decent water pressure. Look, it’s not going to win any design awards, but everything works as it should. The noise level at night is pretty reasonable too – you might catch some weekend revelry from the bars near Town Hall Square, but it’s more atmospheric than annoying. Actually, I found it kind of charming to drift off to the distant sounds of people enjoying themselves in one of Europe’s most beautiful old towns. If you’re planning to stay here during summer, just know that it gets properly busy in the Old Town, but this little stretch of Šv. Ignoto feels like your own secret hideaway in the middle of it all.

  What could be improved: The reality vs the pics on booking.com, very old building, creepy entrance, smelly appartment and very unclean .. hair was all over the place and we couldn’t sleep on the beds and we raised the concern they said sleep and will send you a cleaner the next day.. such unprofessional reply. They tried to make the situation silly saying “ little hair doesn’t deserve that much of complaining “ we booked another hotel and we didn’t sleep.. till now waiting the refund to be processed.
