When I asked about getting to the castle district, the guy at reception actually drew me a little map showing which streets to take to avoid the crowds – the kind of insider knowledge you usually only get from staying with locals.

The rooms themselves hit that sweet spot between cozy and functional. Nothing fancy, but everything works properly (which, honestly, is more than I can say for some much pricier places I’ve stayed). The beds are actually comfortable – not too soft, not like sleeping on concrete – and the wifi doesn’t cut out every ten minutes like it does at half the hotels around here.   I was super happy with my stay! The location was perfect, in the old town on a quiet street, however all the bars, cafes and shops being just around the corner. Nice, clean apartment with all the amenities and comfy bed. The host was so lovely and very accommodating.
