But honestly, after staying there, I get why they don’t bother with stars. This place operates on a completely different level.

The location is actually brilliant if you know Vilnius at all. Jono Basanavičiaus runs right through Naujamiestis, which means you’re literally in the heart of everything without being stuck in the touristy chaos of Old Town. I could walk to Gediminas Avenue in about five minutes, and there’s this amazing little coffee spot called Būk just around the corner that locals actually go to – not the overpriced tourist traps. The building itself has that classic Vilnius charm, you know, the kind where you can tell it has stories but someone’s put serious thought into bringing it into this century.

What really got me was the attention to detail inside. The refurbishment – and I mean, they clearly spent real money on this – manages to keep the character of the original space while making everything feel completely modern. The floors have this beautiful herringbone pattern that probably took forever to get right, and the bathroom (which honestly can make or break a place) feels like something you’d find in a much more expensive hotel. The windows are proper double-glazed too, which matters more than you’d think given how lively the street can get during weekend evenings. I actually slept through everything, which rarely happens when I’m somewhere new.

The 9.9 rating makes sense once you’re there. It’s not just about the space itself – though that’s gorgeous – it’s how everything works together. Check-in was seamless, the WiFi actually functioned at proper speeds (I was working remotely, so this mattered), and they’d thought through all those little things that usually annoy you. Like, there were enough outlets near the bed, decent lighting for reading, and the shower pressure was exactly what you want after walking around cobblestones all day. Plus, they stock the kitchen area with quality basics, not the cheap stuff you usually get.

What I really appreciated was how they’ve positioned themselves. They’re not trying to be a traditional hotel with a lobby full of tourists comparing guidebooks. It feels more like staying in a incredibly well-designed friend’s apartment, if that friend happened to have impeccable taste and unlimited renovation budget. The neighborhood vibe supports this too – you’ll see more locals than visitors on the street, which gives you a much better sense of what Vilnius is actually like beyond the cathedral and castle views.

  Lokalizacja super, spacerkiem ok. 10-15 min do Centrum. Komunikacja blisko. W mieszkaniu było naprawdę WSZYSTKO co potrzeba. Czysto, jasno, przestronnie. Idealne dla rodziny 2+2. WIFI bez zarzutu. Rzeczowy, miły kontakt z właścicielem obiektu. Przystępna cena. Naprawdę polecam 🙂
