You know what really struck me about Prie Vilneles Apartment? It’s one of those places that feels like you’re staying at a friend’s place rather than some sterile hotel room. I mean, with a 9.8 rating, I was expecting something decent, but honestly this little 3-star gem exceeded what I thought was possible at this price point.

The apartment sits right along the Vilnia River – and I’m talking literally steps from the water. You can actually hear it flowing if you crack the windows at night, which is surprisingly soothing (though if you’re a super light sleeper, maybe keep them closed). The whole setup feels authentically Lithuanian rather than trying to be some generic European accommodation. The owner clearly put thought into the details – there’s proper coffee equipment, not just those awful instant packets, and the shower actually has decent water pressure, which… well, anyone who’s traveled around this part of Europe knows that’s not always a given.

What I really appreciated was how the place connects you to actual Vilnius life. You’re walking distance from Užupis – that quirky artist district that declares itself an independent republic – but you’re also close enough to wander into the old town without feeling like you need to plan your whole day around it. The mornings are particularly nice because you can grab fresh bread from the little bakery around the corner (the locals start lining up around 8 AM, so don’t sleep too late). Parking was actually manageable too, which honestly surprised me since so many places in Vilnius old town area make you hunt around for ages.

The apartment itself has that lived-in comfort that you just can’t fake – good lighting for reading, a kitchen table that’s actually big enough to spread out a map and plan your day, windows that open properly for fresh air. It’s not trying to be fancy, but everything works the way it should. The bed was comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up with that hotel-bed backache, and there’s enough space to actually unpack your suitcase instead of living out of it for your whole stay. I’d definitely come back here – it’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something special rather than just booked another room.

  This apartment was awesome. Well-equipped kitchen, private parking in the garage, comfy bed, spacious, clean, very modern, bus stop and grocery store 2min walk away. Due to a long wait at the birder, I arrived in the middle of the night instead of afternoon and the host was so nice to leave the key in a drop box for me. Hist was always responsive and helpful. I couldn't ask for anything better and would gladly stay again!

  The flat is located in a newly built apartment building and is all new and modern. We noticed that the hosts really took into consideration the previous guest reviews as mentioned missing items were now available at the flat. We liked everything about the apartment – it was spotless, had a full kitchen, a beautiful balcony, safe parking and was located 10 min ride by bus from the centre. We could hear the planes landing but it wasn’t disturbing at all (I’m very sensitive to noise). The area was nice, safe and quiet. You know what folks… that is bloody nice!
