You’ll hear the gentle clip-clop of horse-drawn carriages in the morning (it’s actually quite charming, not touristy-annoying like you might expect), and the smell of fresh bread from the nearby bakeries drifts up through the windows.

What really struck me about this apartment is how they’ve managed to blend modern comfort with that old-world Vilnius charm. The space feels genuinely luxurious – not in a flashy, over-the-top way, but in that understated European style where everything just works perfectly. The beds are seriously comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the bathroom setup is way better than most hotels I’ve stayed at in the area. The kitchen is actually functional too, which matters if you want to grab some local ingredients from the market near Cathedral Square – it’s maybe a 3-minute walk – and cook something instead of eating out every meal. Speaking of eating out though, you’re steps away from some fantastic Lithuanian restaurants, and honestly, the tourist traps are easy enough to avoid if you just walk a block off the main drag.

The 9.5 rating this place has earned makes total sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s those little details that add up – the way the afternoon light filters through the windows, how quiet it gets at night despite being in the heart of everything, the fact that the WiFi actually works properly (you’d be surprised how often that’s an issue in Old Town buildings). The only tiny downside? Well, like most Old Town properties, there’s no parking directly at the building, but there are options nearby if you’re driving. Most people just walk everywhere anyway – Gediminas Tower, the Gate of Dawn, all the main sights are within easy reach. I’d definitely come back here, and I’m pretty sure you’d feel the same way about it.
