PARK HOTEL VILNIUS Overview

You know what struck me first about PARK HOTEL VILNIUS? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try to be something it’s not – and honestly, that’s refreshing in a city where so many hotels are either trying too hard to be boutique or falling into that generic chain trap. This is a solid 3-star spot that actually delivers on what a 3-star should be, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how often that doesn’t happen.

The thing about Vilnius is that location matters more than you might think – the Old Town can get pretty touristy and loud, especially during summer evenings when everyone’s spilling out of the restaurants and bars. Park Hotel sits in a spot where you’re close enough to walk to the good stuff (I mean, you can hit most of the main sights without breaking a sweat), but far enough out that you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling past your window at 2 AM. The rooms are clean and comfortable in that straightforward way – decent beds, good shower pressure, and windows that actually open, which is something I always check because I hate stuffy hotel rooms. The breakfast isn’t going to blow your mind, but it’s proper and filling, with enough local touches that you remember you’re in Lithuania, not some international hotel bubble.

What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to know the city beyond just the typical tourist recommendations. When I asked about where to find good cepelinai (those potato dumplings that are basically mandatory eating here), the guy at reception didn’t just point me toward the Old Town tourist traps – he gave me directions to this neighborhood spot that locals actually go to. That’s the kind of insider knowledge that makes a difference. The hotel’s 7.6 rating feels about right – it’s not going to be anyone’s dream destination, but it handles the fundamentals well and gives you a comfortable base for exploring Vilnius without the premium prices you’ll pay closer to Cathedral Square. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was doing more than just a quick weekend trip and wanted somewhere reliable rather than Instagram-worthy.

Early hotels booking in Vilnius requires advance planning during peak cultural seasons when visitors flock to enjoy the city’s magnificent baroque architecture and vibrant arts scene.

Reviews of PARK HOTEL VILNIUS

  • Tuomas from Finland (8/10)

The host/owner was friendly and had a good sense for the customer service. I got a late check out for a little extra pay and the breakfast was good value for the price. Overall a great hotel. Room was clean and spacious enough.

  • Mark from Estonia (9/10)

Perfect location, near public transport station, nearby a lot of restaurants for breakfast.

    Location was really good

  • Aliaksandr from Lithuania (7/10)

This was my 1st ever stay in this hotel. The hotel was quite short walking distance from railway / bust station, busy supermarket, and old town at the same time.

  • João from Portugal (8/10)

Great location. No lift so you must use stairs. Great for your health 🙂
You get what you pay. More a one or two star hotel than three. As the cheapest in the area it is just fine for visiting town.
