I’ll be honest – when I first stumbled across Opera Escape Studio on Goštauto street, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like a pretty standard apartment building in Naujamiestis. But you know what? Sometimes the best finds are the ones hiding in plain sight, and this little 3-star gem completely changed my perspective on where to stay in Vilnius.

The thing about this place is that it sits right in the sweet spot of the new town – close enough to everything that matters, but tucked away on a quiet street where you actually get some sleep. I mean, you’re literally a few minutes’ walk from the Cathedral and Old Town, but without all the tourist noise that comes with staying right in the thick of things. The studio itself feels more like crashing at a friend’s really well-organized apartment than staying in a typical hotel room. Everything’s compact but thoughtfully arranged – you’ve got proper kitchen facilities (not just a sad mini-fridge), decent Wi-Fi that actually works, and honestly, the bed was way more comfortable than I expected. The windows face the courtyard, which means it stays pretty quiet even during the day when the city gets busy.

What really impressed me was how the owners clearly know their neighborhood. They left these handwritten notes about the best coffee spots nearby (there’s this fantastic little place just around the corner that most guidebooks miss), and they actually gave useful advice about getting around. Parking can be a bit tricky in this part of town – it’s mostly street parking and you’ll need to figure out the payment system, but they walked me through it during check-in. The whole area comes alive in the evenings, especially during summer when locals are out walking and the restaurants start filling up. You’re close enough to Gediminas Avenue that you can easily hop over for shopping or nightlife, but far enough that you don’t hear the trams rumbling by all night. I stayed there during a particularly busy weekend in July, and while the Old Town was packed with tour groups, this little corner of Naujamiestis felt refreshingly normal – just regular Vilnius life happening around you. It’s the kind of place where you start to feel like a temporary local rather than just another tourist passing through.

  Fantastic apartment in the perfect location!
  
  We had a wonderful stay in these brand-new apartments right in the heart of the city. Everything is just around the corner — restaurants, cafés, shops — yet the place is incredibly quiet and peaceful.
  
  The apartment is spotless and very well designed. The beds are super comfortable, and we slept so well — it was quiet at night, which is rare in the city center!
  
  The kitchen is large and fully equipped — it has everything you could possibly need, and even more. Everything was very convenient and thoughtfully prepared.
  
  And a special thank you to Dovile — she was extremely kind and attentive, always ready to help. She gave us great recommendations on what to see and do in Vilnius to fully enjoy our stay.
  
  Truly a perfect experience — I highly recommend it and would love to come back!

  Doskonała lokalizacja. Duże wnętrze, oddzielna sypialnia. W kuchni ekspres Dolce Gusto z kapsułkami. Opuszczając lokal zostawiłem kaszkiet. Właściciel dowiózł mi kaszkiet na dworzec kolejowy tuż przed odjazdem. Bardzo dziękuję.
