Old Town Trio Hostel Rooms Overview

You know what struck me first about Old Town Trio Hostel Rooms? Walking down Raugyklos gatvė, you’d almost miss it if you weren’t looking – and honestly, that’s part of its charm. This little boutique spot sits right in the heart of Vilnius Old Town, tucked between those gorgeous medieval buildings that make you feel like you’ve stepped back a few centuries. I mean, you’re literally a two-minute walk from the Town Hall Square, but somehow it feels like you’ve found this hidden gem that most tourists just walk right past.

The place has this wonderfully quirky vibe that you just don’t get at your typical chain hotels. They don’t bother with star ratings (which I actually respect – stars don’t tell you much anyway), but what they lack in official classifications, they make up for in character. The rooms have this cozy, almost residential feel, like you’re staying at a friend’s place rather than just another sterile hotel room. The owners clearly put thought into the little details – good reading lights, actually comfortable beds, and windows that open properly so you can hear the gentle sounds of the old city waking up in the morning. Fair warning though, if you’re a super light sleeper, you might catch some street noise during weekend evenings when people are heading to the bars around Pilies Street, but it’s not overwhelming.

What I love most is how the staff actually knows the neighborhood inside and out. They’ll point you toward that little bakery on Šv. Jono gatvė that locals hit up for morning coffee, or tell you which entrance to use for Gediminas Tower when it’s crowded (trust me, this matters). The location is honestly perfect for exploring – you can walk to pretty much everything worth seeing in Old Town, and when your feet get tired from all those cobblestones, you’re never more than a few minutes from your room. Plus, and this is key for Vilnius, you don’t have to deal with the parking nightmare that comes with staying further out and driving into the old city. The whole area is basically pedestrian-friendly, which means you can actually enjoy wandering around instead of stress-navigating narrow medieval streets. With an 8.9 rating from actual guests, it’s clear I’m not the only one who appreciates what they’re doing here – it’s that sweet spot between authentic local experience and having everything you actually need for a comfortable stay.

Reviews of Old Town Trio Hostel Rooms

  • Great location for me, so in the early morning I can take a bus to another city. – Thi from Norway – August 24, 2025 (10/10)

Got a baby cot for my 1 year old and I am very happy with that.

What could be improved: Well nothing is perfect but it's acceptable. No entrance for a stroller but if there is someone near by they will help.

  • An ok hotel for the price – Stevecofield from United Kingdom – July 25, 2025 (8/10)

The hotel was comfortable, near enough, about 20 minutes, to Cathedral Square. The rooms were large. There was plenty of hot water and the pressure was good. The daytime receptionist was lovely. They supply a bathrobe and slippers which are very useful. It was clean.

What could be improved: The nighttime receptionist needs to work hard on her people skills. My room was very warm, they supply a fan, but it isn't really adequate. There's a decent spread for breakfast, but I usually only drink coffee and have some sweet pastries, neither of which were particularly nice. The side of the bed I chose to sleep on was broken, they did try to fix it, but it broke straightaway. Not a tragedy as I could sleep on the other side of the bed.

  • Great hotel to stay in Vilnius! – Mariah from United States – July 18, 2025 (10/10)

Beds were comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful. Location was great, easy walk to old town and many sights.

What could be improved: The shower didn't drain the first day but seemed like it was mostly fixed the last time we showered.

Amazing staff, spacious and comfortable room, clean bathrooms, great location. Top stay!

  • Great value for money, within walking distance to city centre – Euan from United Kingdom – April 4, 2025 (8/10)

I arrived late at night/early morning and previously checked if this was okay via messenger. I was reassured they had 24hr reception which was great when I arrived.

I was expecting to be sharing a room with other but had my own room which was big and spacious.

The beds were super comfy too for the price and overall offered amazing value for money.

What could be improved: The only negative I found which wouldn’t hinder me from booking again is when I was checking out, there was no one at the desk and after about 5 mins of waiting someone appeared to check me out.

  • Wonderful – Daiva from United Kingdom – March 24, 2025 (9/10)

    What could be improved: 🤔

  • Wonderful – Anna from Belgium – March 9, 2025 (9/10)
