You know what struck me first about Old Town Trio Apartments? The moment you walk in, it actually feels like someone’s well-loved home rather than a sterile hotel lobby. I mean, these aren’t your typical cookie-cutter accommodations – each of the three apartments has its own personality, which honestly makes sense given that they’re carved out of what feels like a historic building with real character.

The thing is, staying here is sort of like having a local friend lend you their place for the week. The apartments are surprisingly spacious (I’m talking full kitchens where you can actually cook, not those sad little kitchenettes with a broken mini-fridge). The owners clearly put thought into the details – decent coffee in the cupboards, extra blankets that don’t smell like industrial detergent, and furniture that’s comfortable enough you’d actually choose to sit on it. I was particularly impressed with how quiet it stays at night, even though you’re right in the heart of the old town area. The walls must be pretty solid because I barely heard my neighbors, which is honestly rare in these converted buildings.

What really sets this place apart though is the location knowledge you get from the hosts – they’ll point you toward the bakery that locals actually use (not the touristy one everyone talks about) and let you know which streets get crazy crowded during market days. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that awkward hovering while someone explains seventeen different amenities you’ll never use. With an 8.6 rating, it’s clearly hitting the mark for most people, and I can see why. It’s that sweet spot where you get the independence of having your own space but with someone local looking out for you if you need anything. The three-star rating might make it sound basic, but honestly, I’ve stayed in five-star places with less personality and worse sleep quality than what you’ll get here.

  location is great, breakfast is absolutely fine, apartment option is nice – you have your separate apartment with kitchen, while you have reception and breakfast as in any regular hotel.

  The room was really good and I had everything I needed, from plates to glasses and so on! Nothing to complain about. Everything worked out well. Bed was really comfy and the room clean. Close to the city center, central station and public transport in general. The room got cleaned every day and I got new towels, even tho I didnt ask for it. Can really recommend this place 🙂
