Old Town Trio Overview
You know what? Old Town Trio completely surprised me. I walked in expecting your typical three-star place – maybe a bit tired around the edges, decent enough for a few nights – but this spot actually has some serious character. The lobby hits you right away with this warm, lived-in feeling that’s hard to fake. There’s something about the way the afternoon light filters through those front windows that just works, and honestly, the whole vibe feels more like staying at a well-traveled friend’s place than some corporate chain.
What really got me was how the staff seemed to actually know the neighborhood. I mean, when I asked about getting dinner somewhere that wasn’t touristy, the guy at the front desk didn’t just hand me a generic list – he started sketching out this little map on hotel stationary, telling me which streets to avoid after dark and where locals actually grab coffee in the morning. That’s the kind of intel you can’t Google. The rooms themselves are solid without being fancy. Mine faced what I think was a small courtyard (you could hear water from some kind of fountain at night, which was actually pretty nice), and while the bathroom could use a refresh, everything worked perfectly fine. The beds are legitimately comfortable too – sometimes you roll the dice with smaller places, but I slept better here than I have at some supposedly fancier spots.
Here’s the thing though – this place really shines because of where it sits and how it operates. You’re close enough to everything that matters without being right in the middle of the chaos, which means you can actually sleep at night but still walk to dinner without planning an expedition. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, parking wasn’t the nightmare I’d feared (there’s a small lot behind the building that most people seem to miss), and the whole experience just felt… easy, I guess? With an 8.5 rating, you’d expect something decent, but Old Town Trio delivers that and then some by not trying too hard to be something it’s not. It’s the kind of place where you extend your stay by a night just because you’re comfortable, and honestly, that’s worth more than marble bathrooms and overpriced minibars.

There was cupboard / storage space in the room and the bed was comfortable. Good location, 10m from a shop, 15m walk from the train station and 20~30 minutes from the City Centre. Staff friendly.

Gia from Georgia (9/10)
Overall, everything was great. The room was clean, the bathroom was comfortable for showering, and the water pressure was excellent. The breakfast was satisfying. The location is fantastic—calm and in the old town, perfect for pleasant walks nearby. One of the most impressive aspects was the WiFi, which was amazing! It's fast enough to handle all your work needs, making remote work easy (download speeds up to 400-500 Mbps, upload speeds up to 300-350 Mbps).
Considering the prices and services offered by other hotels, I would highly recommend Old Town Trio to anyone looking for excellent service, friendly staff, a great location, and a remote work-friendly environment.Gunta from Latvia (9/10)

The hotel it's well-located, pretty close to the train/bus stations (5 min walk), 10 min walk to the centre/old town, there are supermarkets, shops, restaurants and bar around, plenty of sightseeing. Breakfast is AMAZING and it definitely exceeded my expectations, lots of options available. Bedroom and bathroom are clean and with a perfect size. As a female solo traveller I can recommend this hotel, I felt safe and comfortable. The way to the train station seems a bit weird, but it is a super short walk, even doing it at 5 am on my own it was ok.
