You’re deep in Antakalnis, which means you’re living like an actual Vilnius resident instead of being stuck in some touristy bubble downtown.

The apartment itself feels refreshingly unpolished in the best way – I mean, it’s clearly well-maintained and clean (that 9.4 rating isn’t an accident), but there’s none of that sterile hotel vibe that makes you feel like you can’t touch anything. The kitchen actually has proper cookware, not those sad little hotel kettles, and honestly, after a few days of exploring Vilnius’s old town on foot, being able to make real coffee in the morning was a game-changer. The neighborhood’s got this quiet residential feel where you hear kids playing in courtyards rather than constant traffic, though you’ll definitely want to figure out the local bus routes if you’re planning to hit the main sights regularly – it’s not exactly a quick walk to Cathedral Square.

What really sold me on this place was the little stuff nobody mentions in typical hotel descriptions. The shower pressure is actually decent (rare in older European buildings), there’s proper blackout capability for those bright summer nights when the sun barely sets, and – this might sound weird – but the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every time someone uses the microwave. You know those apartments where everything’s just slightly off? This isn’t one of them. The whole setup feels like someone’s well-organized cousin let you crash at their place while they’re out of town. Sure, you won’t have room service or a concierge, but you also won’t pay concierge prices, and there’s something genuinely nice about grabbing groceries at the local Maxima and settling in for the evening. Plus, if you’re the type who actually enjoys chatting with locals rather than just taking photos of them, this neighborhood gives you plenty of opportunities – the nearby cafés and small shops haven’t been completely overrun by tourists yet.

  Very calm location and nice host. Terrace is really beautiful, especially if the evening is calm so having hot tub and barbecue is really relaxing. Apartments are clean and there are many things you might need, starting from coffee and sugar, honey and spices and finalising with shampoo, towels and other stuff for your comfortable stay

  We had a fantastic stay at the lodge. The host was exceptional welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help without us even needing to ask. They went above and beyond, even assisting us with our BBQ, which made the experience feel extra special. The lodge itself was beautiful, excellent value for money, and created the perfect setting for unforgettable memories. As a thoughtful touch, we were also left a delicious sweet treat for breakfast. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm, memorable getaway.

  Nice spacious terrace with a view into the nature, peace and quiet, well furnished and clean. Great reception from the landlady. Great price.
