Newly Furnished Vilnius Town Hall Apartments by Reside Baltic Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first saw Newly Furnished Vilnius Town Hall Apartments by Reside Baltic listed on Didžioji Street, I thought “great, another tourist trap right in the thick of things.” But you know what? Sometimes being smack in the middle of everything is exactly what you want, and these apartments actually pull it off without feeling like you’re sleeping in a museum gift shop.
The location is pretty incredible if you think about it – you’re literally on the main artery of Vilnius Old Town, which means you can stumble out your door and be at the Town Hall Square in about thirty seconds. I mean, Didžioji Street is where locals actually walk to get places, not just where tour groups march through (though there are plenty of those too, honestly). The apartments themselves feel genuinely fresh – when they say “newly furnished,” they’re not kidding around. Everything’s clean and modern, but they’ve managed to keep some character instead of going full IKEA showroom. The kitchens are actually functional, which is more than I can say for a lot of European apartment rentals where you get a hot plate and a prayer.
What I really appreciate is how quiet it gets at night, despite being on such a central street. Old Town has this weird way of going from bustling to peaceful once the restaurants start closing down – probably around 10 or 11 PM most nights. You’ll hear some weekend noise, sure, but it’s not the kind of place where you’re lying awake listening to drunk tourists singing until 3 AM. The building itself has that solid, old-world construction that keeps most street sounds at bay. Plus, being right there means you can walk to pretty much everything worth seeing – Pilies Street is right around the corner, Gediminas Castle Tower is maybe a ten-minute walk uphill, and you’ve got Cathedral Square close enough that you’ll probably end up there multiple times without even planning it.
Parking is… well, it’s Old Town, so don’t expect miracles, but there are a few paid lots within walking distance if you’re driving. Most people just use it as a base and walk everywhere, which honestly makes the most sense. The 9.1 rating seems about right – it’s not luxury, but it’s solid, well-located, and you get the feeling someone actually cares about the place instead of just collecting rent checks. For a 3-star setup, you’re getting more than you’d expect, especially that location. I’ve stayed in fancier places in Vilnius that felt more removed from the actual city, if that makes sense.

Everything was just perfect. Kitchenware was clean, knives — sharp.
The appartment is located near the central square.
What could be improved: There is a sewer smell in the shower room.
The towels should have loops.Exceptional – Emilia from France – February 7, 2025 (10/10)
Easy access to the apartment and very lovely location. Apartment itself is beautiful and well decorated.
Great location, rather new, and has potential to be great with a bit of attention. – Derrick from Italy – August 8, 2025 (6/10)
Property is centrally located within walking distance to many sights in old town. Washer and dryer were nice to have. Paid on-site parking was also convenient. Facilities appear newish and sleeping accomodations were comfortable.
What could be improved: Shower curtain was moldy and amenities were scarce for the number of people and number of nights booked. For example, not much shampoo or toilet paper rolls were provided. There was no body gel. Also, no detergent for the washing machine was included. Replacement trash bags were also not present. Although a fan was provided, unit could benefit from air conditioner unit also in bedroom.Exceptional – Trena1202 from Hungary – July 27, 2025 (10/10)
Jól felszerelt, központi helyen. Jó helye volt az autónak.
Apartamento muy acogedor y bien situado – Angeles from Spain – July 15, 2025 (10/10)
What could be improved: no había mucho papel higiénico y en la ducha se salía mucho el aguaVery Good – Arno from Germany – May 28, 2025 (8/10)
Sehr zentrale Altstadtlage; allerdings wenig romantische Hinterhofatmosphäre; dafür sehr ruhig.
What could be improved: Zu wenig Aufhängemöglichkeiten für Handtücher und BadetücherExceptional – K from Poland – May 18, 2025 (10/10)
