New appartment with art collection Overview
I stumbled across New appartment with art collection last spring while wandering through Antakalnis, and honestly, it caught me off guard in the best way possible. You know how most accommodations just throw up a few generic prints on the walls and call it decoration? This place actually lives up to its name – there’s genuine art everywhere, and I mean curated pieces that make you stop and look twice. The owner clearly has an eye for contemporary Lithuanian artists, which gives the whole space this authentic cultural vibe you just can’t fake.
The location on Kuosų gatvė is pretty brilliant, actually. It’s tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with tourist crowds, but you’re still close to everything that matters in Antakalnis. I could walk to the TV Tower in about fifteen minutes, and there’s this little bakery around the corner – I think it’s called Duonos namai – where locals grab their morning coffee. The neighborhood has that lived-in feel where you’ll hear kids playing in courtyards and see babushkas tending to their balcony gardens. Parking was surprisingly easy too, which anyone who’s driven in Vilnius will appreciate.
What really sold me on this place was how it felt like staying in someone’s actual home rather than a sterile rental. The apartment is spacious – probably around 50 square meters – with these lovely high ceilings that make everything feel airy. The art collection ranges from abstract paintings to some interesting sculptures, and I spent way too much time just wandering around discovering new pieces. The kitchen is fully equipped (I made quite a few meals there), and the wifi actually works properly, which sadly isn’t always guaranteed in older Vilnius buildings. The 8.7 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve been there – it’s got character and comfort without trying too hard to impress. Sure, it’s a 3-star place, so don’t expect luxury amenities, but what you get is something much better: a genuine slice of Vilnius life with enough artistic flair to make your Instagram followers jealous.

Reviews of New appartment with art collection
Great apartment for exploring Vilnius (Near Sapieha Palace and Tech Park) – Sofia from Lithuania – April 25, 2024 (10/10)
This apartment was perfect for my recent stay in Vilnius. It was clean, organized, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including full kitchen and comfy bed. The owner was also very easy to communicate with.
The location was excellent. The apartment is situated near Sapieha Palace, which is now a cultural hub with tours and exhibitions, as well as Tech Park on it’s territory. This made it a great spot for exploring both the history and contemporary side of Vilnius.
Getting around was easy. The city centre is within walking distance (about 30 minutes) or a short taxi ride (around 3-4 euros). Public transport is also available, although during my visit in late April, taxis were a better option due to unexpected snow and rains.
