NERIS Apartments Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to NERIS Apartments on Kalvarijų gatvė, I wasn’t expecting much from what seemed like just another apartment building in Vilnius. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that surprise you, and this little gem in Snipiskes absolutely did that.
The thing about staying here is that you’re basically living like a local in one of Vilnius’s up-and-coming neighborhoods. I mean, Snipiskes isn’t where all the tourists end up – it’s actually where real people live and work, which honestly made the whole experience feel more authentic. The apartments themselves are clean and well-maintained (way better than some 4-star places I’ve stayed), and whoever manages this place clearly gives a damn about the details. The kitchenettes are actually functional – not just for show – which saved me a fortune on restaurant meals. Plus, there’s something satisfying about grabbing fresh bread from the little bakery down the street and making your own breakfast while the city wakes up outside your window.
What really won me over, though, was the location once I figured it out. Sure, you’re not stumbling distance from the Old Town, but here’s the thing – you’re a quick walk to the Neris River, which is gorgeous for morning runs, and the business district is right there if you’re in town for work. The tram connections are actually pretty solid (the locals showed me which stops to use), and parking isn’t the nightmare it is in the tourist areas. I stayed during shoulder season in October, and the neighborhood had this quiet, residential vibe in the evenings that was perfect after long days of sightseeing. The only minor thing – and I mean minor – is that the building can get a bit echoey in the hallways, but once you’re in your apartment with the door closed, it’s perfectly quiet. With a 9.1 rating, they’re clearly doing something right, and after spending four nights there, I get it. It’s not flashy or trying to impress anyone, but it’s exactly what you want when you’re looking for a comfortable, honest place to stay without paying Old Town prices.
Vilnius’s hotels showcase the perfect blend of Lithuanian tradition and modern comfort, with many featuring cultural tour services and authentic Baltic hospitality.

Reviews of NERIS Apartments
Very comfortable appartment, beautifully styled and renovated, very new, and cozy, where we had a great 3-day stay! – Alexandra from Netherlands – June 22, 2025 (8/10)
Very stylish, new, cozy and comfortable. Free parking and close to city center.
What could be improved: A bit (too) many stairs to walk each time (without elevator). For us not such a problem but this is not suitable for everyone, I think.Exceptional – Kai from Estonia – May 26, 2025 (10/10)
The Neris flat is absolutely beautiful, even better than the pictures. It has everything one needs for a few days or even longer. It is spotlessly clean, the bed and furniture are comfortable and practical—this is a very cozy flat. The location is ideal, with walking distance of the beautiful Neris River and close to everything you need.
The check in process is flawless, exactly how Gintare has described it, super easy instructions. Gintare checked in to see if I needed anything, and was attentive without being intrusive.
I highly recommend this flat and will stay here again when in Vilnius.Lovely apartment – Eliza from United Kingdom – September 27, 2024 (9/10)
Good location, very clean and modern apartment.
What could be improved: Nothing!Excelent! – Diana from Romania – June 1, 2024 (10/10)
The property is well located and it is perfectly clean!
What could be improved: It is on 4th floor and there is no elevator, for some could be a small problem.New apartment with great location – Navpav from Czech Republic – April 21, 2024 (9/10)
Nice apartment. Everything is new and functional. Nice view of the city. The apartment is quiet. The owner is helpful and offers his assistance. The apartment is located near the city center so I can recommend the apartment for people visiting the old town. There is a bus stop almost in front of the house.
What could be improved: The apartment is on the fourth floor and situated in the attic. For an elderly person this could be a problem. I would also recommend adding heating. One small electric heater is not enough for winter and cold spring. The kitchen could use more cooking utensils (e.g., a cooking pot … ).Great place for a short stay – Modestas from Lithuania – November 22, 2023 (10/10)
Amazing hosts, great location and nice, simple and fully furnished facility. I liked the design of the apartment, everything that was needed for a couple nights state was provided. The rooms aren't too big, since parts of the room have very low ceiling. But I wouldn't consider it a problem.
Exceptional – Giedre from Ireland – November 2, 2023 (10/10)
Brilliant location, clean, worm and modern.
What could be improved: We miss TV.I would rent the apartment again. – Bettina from Germany – September 27, 2023 (10/10)
The owner is very friendly, helpful and speaks a proper English. The flat is new, super clean and good equipped . The bus stop to the airport is only 300m away from the apartment. The distance to next supermarket is 250m.
What could be improved: The flat is in the 3rd floor and there is no lift. So it is a fine physical training. That's not a disadvantage, but one should keep it in mind.Wonderful – Sahib from Germany – September 16, 2024 (9/10)
Very well designed and furnished with great attention to detail. Has almost everything one needs to live for a few days.
What could be improved: The surroundings are a bit of a travel back in time, but the apartment adequately makes up for it.Exceptional – Paulius from Lithuania – July 14, 2024 (10/10)
Everything was good. Location is very nice, everything you can reach by foot. Appartment is clean and new, all you need you can find it. For those who staying for a longer time, maybe they will miss TV, but for shorter stay we didnt need it. Host is also friendly and helpful.
