The bathrooms are honestly gorgeous – marble that feels substantial without being cold, and water pressure that actually works, which isn’t always a given in these converted historical buildings.

What really won me over, though, is how they handle the whole “Small Luxury Hotels” thing without being precious about it. The staff genuinely knows the city – not just the obvious tourist spots, but they’ll point you toward the little courtyard where locals grab coffee in the morning, or mention that Thursday evenings are when the cathedral square gets busy with students. The location puts you right in the heart of everything, but here’s the thing about Old Town Vilnius – it’s not like staying in central Rome or Paris where you’re dealing with constant noise and crowds. Even in summer, once evening settles in, it gets beautifully quiet. You can actually sleep with the windows open and just hear the occasional footsteps on cobblestones.

I stayed here during shoulder season in early October, and honestly, the timing couldn’t have been better. The breakfast setup (they do it in this vaulted cellar space that sounds grim but is actually quite atmospheric) wasn’t crowded, and you could tell they put real thought into sourcing local ingredients. The whole experience felt… well, sort of like staying at a really well-run boutique place that happens to occupy a building older than most countries. There’s underground parking if you’re driving – not cheap, but in this part of the city, you’ll pay anyway, and at least here you know your car’s secure. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that “let me show you seventeen amenities” routine that can feel overwhelming when you just want to drop your bags and explore. This is the kind of place that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something special, even though it’s clearly well-known among people who care about where they stay.

  The hotel has an excellent location in the top city center. Very big bonus was the free parking place, because the hotel is actually in the pedestrian zone and it was very important for us to have a parking place. The breakfast was really very good. The room is very cozy, *****, the hotel has original athmosphere. Very nice old style hotel.

  A beautiful hotel, one of the best I have stayed in. Everything about it was just spot on – room amazing, breakfast in a wonderful setting and lots of choice, location right in the centre of the old town. It couldn't have been more perfect.
