The location is actually perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in the city rather than just visiting it. You’re literally surrounded by those narrow cobblestone streets that tourists spend all day wandering through, except you get to wake up there. I loved stepping out in the early morning when the old town was still quiet – just the sound of shopkeepers setting up and maybe a few locals grabbing coffee. The evening buzz is completely different though; you’ll hear laughter spilling out from restaurants and the gentle hum of people strolling past your windows. It’s not rowdy or anything, just… alive, you know? The building itself has that solid, lived-in feel that old European architecture does so well – thick walls that actually keep street noise to a reasonable level, which I really appreciated.
What really impressed me was how thoughtfully everything was put together inside. The apartment feels like someone’s actual home rather than a generic rental unit. Little touches everywhere – proper lighting that’s warm instead of harsh, a kitchen that’s genuinely functional (not just decorative), and honestly, the most comfortable bed I’ve had in a long time. The apartment has a good location near the old town. It is clean and spacious, with the views of the back yard and Vilnius sky-line. Air-conditioning in the apartment was appreciated, since we arrived on a very hot summer day. It is probably the best equipped apartment in this price range we have experienced so far: kitchen towels, wash-up tablets, extra plastic bags for garbage, a decent number of hangers in the wardrobe are necessities we seldom find in holiday accommodations. The host was very attentive: he sent us a message mid-stay and asked if we lacked anything. Our verdict: when we are visiting Vilnius next time we do not want to stay in any other accommodation but this one.
