The soundproofing is solid too, which matters because Smolensko can get a bit lively on weekends, but I never had trouble sleeping. They’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between modern comfort and actual character, if that makes sense. The staff treats you like they genuinely want you to have a good time in their city rather than just processing another check-in. I ended up getting some great restaurant recommendations that weren’t the usual tourist traps – places where I heard more Lithuanian than English, which is always a good sign. The whole experience just felt… well, it felt like what travel should be like when everything goes right.
