Modern loft in City centre Self check-in No 45 Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw Modern loft in City centre Self check-in No 45 listed online, I was a bit skeptical about the whole “self check-in” thing. But you know what? It actually works really well here, especially since you’re right on Naugarduko gatvė in the heart of Naujamiestis. I mean, this street is basically where old Vilnius starts blending into the newer parts of the city, and there’s something pretty cool about just getting your code and walking straight into what feels like your own little urban hideaway.
The loft itself has that raw, industrial vibe that actually makes sense in this neighborhood – exposed brick in places, high ceilings that don’t make you feel cramped like some European accommodations can. What surprised me most was how quiet it stays at night, considering you’re literally in the city center. I guess the thick walls help, but honestly, Naujamiestis just has this different energy compared to the tourist-heavy Old Town. You’ll hear the occasional tram rumbling by (which I actually found kind of soothing), but it’s not the kind of place where drunk groups are stumbling around at 2 AM. The kitchen setup is legit too – not just some sad mini-fridge situation. I ended up cooking a couple nights because there’s this great little market about a five-minute walk away where locals actually shop.
Here’s the thing about staying here versus some fancy hotel: you get to live like you actually belong in Vilnius for a few days. The tram stop right outside connects you everywhere you need to go, and you’re walking distance to both the business district and all the cultural stuff without being stuck in the middle of tourist central. I kept running into the same coffee shop owner down the street, picked up some Lithuanian phrases from the neighbors – that sort of authentic experience you just don’t get in a generic hotel lobby. The 9.1 rating makes total sense when you factor in that combination of independence, location, and honestly pretty solid value for what you get. Sure, it’s only rated 3 stars technically, but that’s because it doesn’t have a concierge desk or daily housekeeping – things you might not even want anyway. The self check-in means no awkward small talk when you stumble in late, and the space feels more like borrowing a local friend’s place than staying in accommodation. Just make sure you’re comfortable with figuring things out on your own, because that’s part of the charm here.

Reviews of Modern loft in City centre Self check-in No 45
Wonderful – Andrejs from Latvia – July 21, 2025 (9/10)
Our overall stay was very good.
What could be improved: We were staying during summer with very warm days, and we felt that passive ventilation in the apartment was quite poor. Even though there was a very nice and modern standing ventilator (that we used all the time), still if you close the window for an hour you already feel a heavy air and lack of air movement. It is something to keep in mind for people who are sensitive to such things, nonetheless our stay was very nice and we enjoyed the apartment and Vilnus.Nice place – Almira from Bosnia and Herzegovina – July 17, 2025 (9/10)
Great little apartment in an excellent location! It's small and cozy with everything you need for a pleasant stay, and we loved having some fantastic Lithuanian restaurants nearby.
What could be improved: The only downside was the lack of AC, making it a bit warm during the summer.Highly recommended place for you stay in Vilnius – Boris from Sweden – July 13, 2025 (8/10)
The apartment has everything for a short, or even longer stay in Vilnius: the kitchen is small but well equipped, the beds are comfortable and the bathroom as a modern design. The city is reachable by foot and a bus stop is just close by.
What could be improved: The building is still under renovation (?) and the ceiling on the second level with the bed was a bit low for my personal size.Very good – Anna from Cyprus – July 6, 2025 (9/10)
The place was pretty nice with a good view
What could be improved: No air conditioning in the bedroom was claustrophobic. There was no fresh air.great place to stay, will stay here again🌞 – Mažonaitė from Lithuania – May 25, 2025 (8/10)
-we loved the location, it's within walking distance to train/bus stations, grocery stores, city centre
-modern, light, clean and cozy apartament
-big, comfortable bed and sofa
-nice big window to let air and light in
-very nice and helpful host, responded to us quickly
-quiet apartament building, no loud neighboors
What could be improved: genuinely a great place to stay, so these "dislikes" are a bit nitpicky:
-the building is under construction, so there were some construction sounds and trash by the entrance to the building
-i think adding a mat by the front door would help with not tracking in the dirt from outside
-we stayed for 3 days, so i would've appreciated a vacuum to clean up the floorWonderful – Luka from Lithuania – April 26, 2025 (9/10)
AWESOME bedsheets. very soft fabric. comfortable bed. awesome…
Clean, convenient and enjoyable – Arina from Poland – April 21, 2025 (10/10)
The place was clean, good-looking and comfortable to stay in. The owner was really helpful. Keep in mind, that there are construction works around the building, but honestly, it didn’t disturb at all! We also didn’t hear the noises from the rooms near us, which was nice. The location is good, not the centre, but close to Lidl, and easy to get to from the centre and the river. We really enjoyed our experience!
What could be improved: Everything was niceWonderful – Robertas from Lithuania – April 6, 2025 (9/10)
Very clean, modern, comfortable bed, central location, responsive hosts.
What could be improved: No iron in the loft.Perfect stay for a solo traveler – Yuliya from Belarus – November 10, 2024 (10/10)
I really liked my stay here. The apartment is really fresh and new, the host is friendly and responsive.
Inside it’s fully equipped, including washing machine, dishwasher, microwave oven, stove and kettle.
The location is quite comfortable 20mins walk to the city center or you can use a public transport, around 500m away a large supermarket Iki.
What could be improved: Minor drawback was that the elevator in the building was not working but since the building itself is still under renovation, it’s ok. And actually I’m used to using the stairs, so it was not really a problemLuxurious for the price – Aliaksei from Belarus – October 29, 2024 (9/10)
A completely new apartment with modern furniture. New 43' TV – enjoyed watching a movie from my laptop. Kitchen is convenient – cooked twice, all good. Comfy bed. Good sofa. Hot shower with central heating – no unexpected cold water in the process. Overall, a perfect place to stay for several days or even a week or two. The location is not that far from the centre but also not that close – expect to use taxis or have some long walks.
What could be improved: I was literally the first ever guest in this flat, so there were some small misses here and there, but host is a nice guy and I'm sure the experience will be better for you. However, consider that the flat is in the building that's under renovation (it's Oct 24 now), so there might be some very noisy unexpected works in the mornings.
