There’s this fantastic little coffee shop about two blocks away that nobody writes about online, and honestly, some of my best memories from the trip happened there just chatting with people. The area gets pretty quiet at night, which I loved – no drunk tourists stumbling around outside your window at 2 AM.

The check-in process was surprisingly smooth too. Sometimes with apartment-style places you end up playing phone tag or waiting around for someone to show up with keys, but they had their system figured out. One small thing that bugged me – the WiFi was a bit spotty in the bedroom, though it worked fine in the main living area. Not a dealbreaker, but worth mentioning if you’re planning to work from there. What really sold me on the place was the rating it’s earned from other travelers, and after staying there, I totally get why it’s sitting at a 9. That doesn’t happen by accident – it means they’re consistently doing something right.
