The kitchenettes are small but functional – perfect if you’re the type who likes to grab fresh groceries and make coffee the way you actually like it. Fair warning though, the walls aren’t super thick, so if you’re a light sleeper, pack earplugs. It’s not terrible, but you’ll hear your neighbors if they’re having a particularly animated phone call.

What really sets this place apart is the vibe during different times of day. Mornings are quiet – almost library-like – with guests padding around in socks, making coffee, maybe reading yesterday’s paper. But evenings? That’s when it comes alive. The communal areas buzz with this gentle energy of people discovering books they’ve never heard of or debating whether they should buy that novel they’ve been meaning to read. The staff genuinely knows their books too, which is refreshing. They’re not just hospitality workers who happen to work in a book-themed place – they actually read and can point you toward something you’ll love. Check-in was smooth, though they do get busy around literary festival season (something to keep in mind if you’re planning ahead). Parking can be a bit of a hunt depending on when you arrive, but it’s not impossible. The whole experience sits comfortably at that 8.3 rating – solidly good without trying to be fancy. It’s the kind of place that book lovers will absolutely adore, but even if you’re not much of a reader, there’s something genuinely calming about being surrounded by all those stories. Just don’t expect luxury amenities – come for the atmosphere and leave with probably more books than you planned to buy.

  The apartment has a lot of space. The kitchen was fully stocked and had a mini fridge. There was not much street noise so easy to sleep. The 3G bus from the airport stops about 5 minutes away so it was very convenient. There is a lockbox outside the front door with keys so check-in was convenient. We really liked the neighborhood bar in the front of the building with great beer selection and a foosball table and dartboard.

  Close to a bus stop going directly to/from the airport, super easy check-in, very spacious, very comfortable beds, clean. A supermarket and two cafes (for breakfast) 500m away. Good vlaue/price ratio. Approx 15-20 min by foot to the historic city center or to the modern city.

  Spacious studio with good storage options for clothes etc and many amenities making your stay more comfortable (iron, extra blankets, maps, kitchen utensils etc). I particularly liked the big table and the scarlet curtains blocking the lights.

  We loved the interior and the design, the kitchen has everything it needs, the freezer has ice trays, the couch and the bed are super comfortable, it is nice and spacious, the location is great, not far away from the old town.
