Honestly, when I first heard the name Medieval Super Studio, I wasn’t sure what to expect – I mean, “super studio” paired with “medieval” sounds like someone had fun with a random word generator, you know? But walking into this place actually made perfect sense. It’s got this quirky charm that somehow works beautifully, like they took a historical concept and gave it a modern, comfortable twist without going overboard with the theme.

The space itself is surprisingly well thought out for a 3-star spot. I’ve stayed in plenty of places that promise “studio” accommodations and end up feeling cramped, but this one actually maximizes every square foot intelligently. The medieval touches are done with a light hand – think wrought iron details and warm stone textures rather than full-on castle dungeon vibes. What really impressed me was how quiet it stays, even when other guests are around. The walls seem solid, and I never had that thing where you’re lying in bed listening to someone’s TV through paper-thin barriers. Check-in was smooth too, no drama or waiting around, which honestly sets the tone for everything else.

You know what really sold me on this place though? It’s those little details that show someone actually cares about the guest experience. The lighting is warm and adjustable – not those harsh fluorescents that make you feel like you’re in an office. The bed was genuinely comfortable, and I’m picky about mattresses. Plus, the whole setup feels clean and well-maintained without that sterile hotel chain feeling. I can see why it’s pulling a 9.7 rating – that’s not easy to achieve unless you’re consistently getting the basics right and then adding something special on top. The medieval theme could have easily become cheesy or overwhelming, but instead it creates this cozy, almost intimate atmosphere that makes you want to actually spend time in the room rather than just crash there between activities. If you’re looking for something with personality that doesn’t sacrifice comfort or cleanliness, this spot delivers on that balance really well.

  This place is great, and the host was absolutely fantastic. The parking is free but could be a little tricky, but the host and their neighbours are so helpful that if you struggle to find a park, he'll sort it for you, which is just lovely. The apartment itself is so much fun with amazing decor and lots of space. And the location is top notch – walking distance to everywhere and surrounded by amazing restaurants and bars. And the host even let us have late checkout on our last day – excellent all round.

  This is a very unique place. Our kids begged us to stay there when they saw pictures – and they weren't disappointed. The people who decorated it, have an incredible sense of space and style and a great sense of humor. There is everything one needs for a comfortable stay and the location is super convent. There's also parking – for those who're skilled at squeezing into tight spots.
