What struck me most was how they managed to blend modern comfort with the building’s original character. Those thick walls keep things surprisingly quiet even when the old town gets lively (and trust me, it does get lively on weekend evenings). The kitchen is actually functional too, not just there for show – we ended up cooking a few meals because, well, the local market is literally a two-minute walk away and the produce was too good to pass up.

You know what really won me over though? It’s the little details that show someone who actually lives in this neighborhood set this place up. There’s a proper coffee setup, not just some sad instant packets. The shower has excellent water pressure – something you learn to appreciate after too many European apartments with disappointing trickles. And the location… look, everyone says “heart of old town” but this genuinely is. You’re close enough to duck into that amazing little bakery on the corner for morning pastries (get there before 9 AM or the locals will have bought everything good), but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with tour groups marching past your windows all day. I actually found myself just wandering the surrounding streets in the evenings because each little alley seems to hide another wine bar or family restaurant that’s been there for decades. The 9.6 rating makes complete sense once you’ve stayed here – it’s that sweet spot where everything just works without feeling corporate or impersonal. Fair warning though: the old town can get pretty quiet after midnight, so if you’re looking for all-night partying, you might need to venture out to the newer districts. But honestly? After a day of exploring, sinking into that comfortable living room with a bottle of local wine felt pretty perfect to me.

  The facilities and the location meet our needs. The apartment is located the best side of the old town, and near restaurants and bars. Parking is easy. Check in and check out is easy too. Big rooms and clean.

  L'appartement est somptueux! Spacieux, bien équipé et idéalement situé en plein centre et juste en face d'un très bon restaurant! Le lit de la chambre était très confortable, chambre magnifique. Le bureau avec clic clac était confortable aussi et la partie bureau était pratique pour travailler. La télé est immense mais malheureusement nous n'avons pas pu la tester (Netflix était disponible d'ailleurs), séjour trop court.
  L'hôte Karolina était très réactive car je n'étais pas très douée pour récupérer les clés, mais en réalité c'est assez facile, j'avais juste mal lu les explications. Nous avons même pu adapter les horaires d'arrivée/départ. Merci à Karolina!
