I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Luxurious Apartment in Vilnius Old Town by Reside Baltic, I wasn’t quite prepared for how spacious it would feel. The apartment sits right on Lydos gatvė, which is perfect because you’re literally steps from everything that matters in the Old Town, but somehow it’s not crazy loud at night like some of the places closer to Pilies Street.

What really got me was the attention to detail – and I mean the stuff you don’t expect. The floors are this gorgeous hardwood that actually feels warm under your feet (trust me, that matters in a Lithuanian winter), and whoever designed the lighting really knew what they were doing. It’s bright enough to feel welcoming during those short winter days, but not harsh. The kitchen is honestly better equipped than my apartment back home, which made me slightly jealous. I ended up cooking way more than I planned because, well, why not? Plus there’s this little market just around the corner on Aušros Vartų where you can grab fresh bread and local cheese – the kind of place where the vendors start recognizing you after a couple days.

The location thing is tricky to explain without sounding like every other review, but here’s the deal: you can walk to the cathedral in about eight minutes, Užupis (the quirky artist quarter) is maybe twelve minutes if you take your time, and honestly, you’ll want to take your time because the cobblestone streets are gorgeous but not exactly sneaker-friendly. What I loved most was being able to duck back to the apartment between wandering sessions – something about having that home base made exploring feel less rushed. The building itself has this quiet, solid feel that a lot of the newer places just don’t have. You’ll hear some street noise during the day, but nothing that interferes with sleep, and the walls are thick enough that you’re not dealing with neighbor sounds. Check-in was surprisingly smooth too – none of that awkward waiting around or complicated key pickup situations. The whole Reside Baltic operation seems pretty well-organized, which matters more than you’d think when you’re tired from traveling. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was planning to spend serious time exploring the Old Town rather than just passing through.

  Very good location, both grocery stores and restaurants were nearby.
  The apartment was well equipped and the household appliances were in working order except for the toaster.
  
  What could be improved: It was unpleasant that the cleaning of the apartment was completely left to the customer, including taking the garbage to a distance of approx. 200 m. No change of bed linen or towels, wash yourself if you want.
  The strong noise of the air conditioner at night was also disturbing.
  Violation of the night peace by noisy neighbors also happens.
  By the way, the shower room could also have a soap dish and towel racks.

  Location was great, the seurity guy who let us in was very polite and helpful. Plus, there was an inner yard to enjoy a cup of coffee and to sit on a bench, relaxing. Happened to stay there during hot summer days, so air conditioning was very welcome. The host was very helpful in solving the airconditioning noise problem.
  
  What could be improved: I did not realize when making my booking, that the apartment is locaten on the basement level. That being said, there was still enough light and we had an access to an inner yard, but the general feel of space was not like in apartments situated on higher floors. The first night there was a terrible ventilator noise from the airconditioning system, althought it was shut down in all three locations in the apartment. I contacted the host about it and the very next morning I got a call with instructions on how to shut it off. This was very helpful, but the first night was still ruined. Then there was a loud birthday party at the neighbor's, with loud music unti 2 a.m. But again, to be fair, I found out that the neighbors had warned everyone before hand and were even giving candy to everyone for the upcoming trouble and that the local house community agreed to the party. But who celebrates their 41st birthday in such a massive way anyway?

  Very spacious, clean, comfortable, and secure accommodation with 24-hour security. Easy check-in/check-out and responsive host. Fully equipped with all basic utensils and amenities. Location is great, within 20 mins walking distance to most attractions. Ample restaurants and cafes around the area with 2 grocery shops within 5 mins walking distance. Definitely value for money and highly recommended.

  The apartment is a 10. Super helpful and friendly host. The cleanliness was very good, everything was perfect. As for the location, it is very central and there is no noise at night, so you sleep very comfortably. We will be back for sure.

  Perfect example of you get what you pay for. And that is a wonderful stay with great amenities to make any traveler feel at home. Property is less than 5 minutes walking to the city center. Also the bed is one of the more comfortable ones I’ve slept in a while!
