The name actually makes perfect sense once you’re there – it sits right in this perfect loop of the city where old meets new, and honestly, you’ll find yourself walking in circles just taking it all in. I mean, this is a solid 4-star place that doesn’t try to be something it’s not, which I really appreciated after staying at some overly pretentious spots around Europe.

The location is what really sells this place, though they don’t need to shout about being “conveniently located” because anyone who knows Vilnius will get it immediately. You’re basically a stone’s throw from the Old Town’s cobblestone maze, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the weekend party crowds stumbling around at 2 AM. I actually loved the morning walks from here – you can grab proper Lithuanian coffee (not that hotel lobby stuff) at one of those tiny cafés locals frequent, then wander into the UNESCO streets when you’re ready to do the tourist thing. The business district is right there too, which explains why I saw so many well-dressed folks in the lobby during weekdays.

What impressed me most was how the staff seemed to actually know their city – not just the obvious tourist traps, but where to find decent kvass or which market stalls have the best šaltibarščiai when it’s hot out. The rooms are clean and modern without being sterile, though I’ll be honest, the bathroom could use slightly better lighting if you’re trying to get ready for dinner. Check-in was refreshingly quick, and they store luggage without making it feel like you’re asking for a huge favor. The 9.1 rating makes sense when you experience the whole package – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but everything works the way it should, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want. Plus, parking is actually manageable here, which anyone who’s driven in Vilnius will tell you is worth its weight in gold.
