I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Lollo Motel Graičiūno – Lollo Luxury, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The name itself is a bit of a puzzle, right? Part motel, part luxury, and that location on V. A. Graičiūno gatvė had me scratching my head since it’s not exactly where you’d expect to find a boutique spot in Vilnius. But you know what? Sometimes the most interesting places are the ones that don’t fit neatly into categories.

The thing about this place is that it really leans into being different – they don’t even bother with the traditional star rating system, which honestly feels pretty refreshing after staying at cookie-cutter hotels where everything looks identical. When you’re walking down Graičiūno street (which is actually quite peaceful, by the way), you might almost miss it at first glance. It’s got this understated entrance that makes you feel like you’re discovering something the guidebooks haven’t caught onto yet. The neighborhood itself is interesting – you’re close enough to the action but far enough out that you won’t have drunk tourists stumbling past your window at 3 AM. I mean, parking was surprisingly easy compared to trying to navigate the old town with a rental car, which anyone who’s driven in Vilnius will tell you is basically a nightmare.

What struck me most was how they’ve managed to create this boutique atmosphere without all the pretentious flourishes you sometimes get at places trying too hard to be “luxury.” The rooms have this comfortable, lived-in quality – not sparse and intimidating like some design hotels where you’re afraid to touch anything. Actually, the whole vibe reminded me more of staying at a well-traveled friend’s apartment than a typical hotel experience. The staff genuinely seemed to know the area well too, which is rarer than you’d think – they pointed me toward this little café about a ten-minute walk away that I never would have found otherwise. The 7.8 rating makes sense to me because it’s not trying to be everything to everyone. There were a few small things that could be improved (the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty in the evenings, and the shower pressure wasn’t amazing), but honestly, those felt like minor details when the overall experience was so distinctly… well, authentic, I guess. If you’re someone who gets excited about finding places that feel genuinely local rather than internationally generic, this might be exactly what you’re looking for in Vilnius.

  The room is neat. The facility is very good. I encourage people to consider this place, if they want quiet places. All the facilities were more than I expected. Moreover, The check in system is more convenient and impressive.
  
  What could be improved: The place is very far from the center. There is no direction on how to use public transport. If this point is taken into consideration, the place will be more attractive to solo travellers and others.

  Be careful because there is another Hostel Lollo in the very center. That one is very very far from the center and in the middle of truck parking. However, inside is clean, easy and convenient
