Loft in front of the Cathedral Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Loft in front of the Cathedral, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes the best discoveries come when your expectations are low. This little gem sits right on Radvilaitės gatvė, and I mean literally facing Vilnius Cathedral – you can practically reach out and touch those baroque spires from some of the windows.
The location is pretty incredible, actually. You’re smack in the middle of Old Town’s cobblestone maze, which means you’ll hear the cathedral bells every hour (fair warning if you’re a light sleeper), but it also means you can stumble to Gedimino Avenue for breakfast in about two minutes flat. I spent most evenings just wandering around Cathedral Square watching street musicians – there’s this accordion player who shows up around sunset that locals seem to know by name. The building itself has that converted warehouse feel that’s becoming popular in Baltic cities, with high ceilings and exposed brick that gives it character without trying too hard.
What really surprised me was how quiet it gets once you’re inside, despite being in such a bustling spot. The rooms have decent soundproofing – I mean, you’ll still catch some late-night revelry from Pilies Street on weekends, but it’s manageable. The 7.4 rating feels about right; it’s not luxury by any stretch, but everything works and the staff actually knows the neighborhood. They pointed me toward this tiny coffee shop on Šv. Jono street that I never would’ve found otherwise. Parking is honestly a nightmare around here (welcome to European old towns), but there’s a public garage about a five-minute walk away that won’t break the bank. Check-in was smooth enough, though I’d recommend arriving before 6 PM since the front desk seems to thin out in the evenings. The loft-style rooms vary quite a bit – I got lucky with a corner unit that had these massive windows overlooking the square, but I imagine some face the courtyard and might feel a bit cramped. Still, for the price and that unbeatable location, you’re getting solid value. Plus, you can literally roll out of bed and be at the Gates of Dawn or exploring Užupis before the tour groups descend – and in Vilnius, that early morning magic in the old streets is absolutely worth experiencing.
Early hotels booking in Vilnius requires advance planning during peak cultural seasons when visitors flock to enjoy the city’s magnificent baroque architecture and vibrant arts scene.

Reviews of Loft in front of the Cathedral
Amazing stay in Vilnius – Karolina from Lithuania – August 16, 2024 (10/10)
Beautiful cozy apartment in the heart of the city, very close to the restaurants, cathedral, shops, old town bars. Apartment is well equipped for a comfortable stay, very calm place with comfortable bed. Location is really unbeatable and there are no sounds at night at all and you can enjoy peace and quiet. Apartment has an amazing atmosphere and old town vilnius vibe to it.
What could be improved: I liked everything.Dusty apartment with unclean and used bedsheets, bad kitchen and silverfish in the bathroom. – Kristina from Norway – May 21, 2023 (1/10)
The location and balcony was nice.
What could be improved: Very disappointed. The towels were covered in dust and did not feel clean. The bed sheets were definitely used by another person. They were not clean and smelled. I didn't use the kitchen because nothing was clean. I booked this apartment to use the washing machine – which was filled with old soap I couldn't get out, and didn't end up using the machine. On my last day here I saw silverfish in the bathroom. Silverfish, an insect aren't dangerous, but can damage property and trigger allergies.Dla jednej osoby to idealne rozwiązanie – Darya from Poland – July 1, 2024 (7/10)

What could be improved: Ciemny dziedziniec i mały prysznicKleine maar fijne studio pal in het centrum – Martin from Netherlands – July 25, 2025 (8/10)
What could be improved: De badkamer. Is erg klein, dus houd daar rekening mee. Good – Elke from Germany – June 15, 2025 (7/10)
Tolle Wohnung! Lage toll!
What could be improved: Es war leider nicht richtig sauber. Wonderful – Donata from Lithuania – March 10, 2025 (9/10)

What could be improved: Kambaryje jautėsi nemalonus kvapas.
What could be improved: Mažas dušas, nėra televizijos, neįmanoma privažiuot.
