Walking up to this sleek, modern building on Žirmūnų gatvė, I honestly wasn’t expecting much – I mean, it’s tucked away in the Žirmūnai district, which isn’t exactly where most tourists end up. But that turned out to be exactly why I loved it. The whole area feels refreshingly authentic, like you’re staying where actual Vilnius residents live and work, not in some tourist bubble. There’s this great little bakery just down the street that I stumbled onto during my morning walks, and the tram stop is maybe a three-minute walk away – which, let me tell you, makes getting to Old Town super easy without dealing with all the parking headaches in the city center.

The loft itself has this industrial-chic thing going on that actually works really well. My room had these exposed brick walls and high ceilings that made the space feel way bigger than you’d expect from a 3-star place. The design is clean and minimalist, but not in that cold, sterile way some modern hotels do – there were these nice touches like local artwork and really comfortable bedding that made it feel more like a stylish apartment than a hotel room. What really impressed me was how quiet everything was, especially at night. Even though you’re in the city, the building seems well-insulated, and since it’s not right on a major tourist strip, you don’t get those groups stumbling back at 2 AM. The staff was genuinely helpful too – not just polite, but actually knowledgeable about the area. When I asked about getting to Užupis (which, if you haven’t been, is this quirky bohemian district you absolutely have to see), they gave me this insider route that avoided the crowds.

Here’s the thing about staying in Žirmūnai – you get to experience Vilnius more like someone who lives there. Sure, you’re not stumbling out your front door onto Cathedral Square, but honestly? That 15-minute tram ride into the heart of things becomes part of the rhythm of your day, and you end up seeing parts of the city most visitors completely miss. Plus, there are some fantastic restaurants within walking distance that haven’t been discovered by every travel blog yet. The value here is incredible too – I mean, a 9.4 rating speaks for itself, but when you factor in what you’re paying compared to those overpriced places right in Old Town, it’s kind of a no-brainer. Just don’t expect a concierge or room service – this is more about smart, comfortable design and a great location for people who want to explore the real Vilnius, not just the postcard version of it.

  Лофт идеальный, чисто, очень красивый дизайн, всё для проживания есть, единственное не сразу смогли найти адрес, навигатор ведёт немного вперёд и не ищет настоящую локацию( может только у мкня так вышло) стоянка недалеко от квартиры ( бесплатная)
