The moment I walked through those doors, there was this immediate sense that someone really cares about this place. The lobby isn’t flashy or trying too hard – it’s got that comfortable, lived-in feeling where you can tell the staff actually knows their regular guests’ names. Check-in was refreshingly smooth (no endless upselling or confusing key card explanations), and honestly, the person at the front desk gave me better restaurant recommendations than most concierges at fancier places I’ve stayed.

What really struck me was how they’ve managed to nail all those little details that most hotels overlook. The room was spotless – I mean, genuinely clean in a way that made me want to walk around barefoot on the carpet. The bed was one of those perfect firmness situations where you don’t spend the first night adjusting to weird lumps or wondering if you’re going to wake up with a crick in your neck. And you know what? The shower actually had proper water pressure. Sounds basic, but you’d be surprised how many places mess that up. The whole space felt thoughtfully put together rather than just furnished from a catalog – there were actual outlets where you need them, decent lighting for reading, and enough surface space that you don’t have to live out of your suitcase.

But here’s the thing that really sets Laura apart – the service feels genuine rather than scripted. When I mentioned I was hoping to find a good coffee spot for early morning walks, the staff member didn’t just point me to the hotel’s own café (which was perfectly fine, by the way). Instead, she told me about this local place two blocks over where the barista makes these incredible pastries and opens at 6 AM. That’s the kind of insider knowledge you just can’t fake. The whole team seemed to operate with this refreshing absence of corporate nonsense – they’re helpful without being pushy, professional without being stiff.

I’ve got to say, achieving a 9.6 rating isn’t some happy accident. This hotel has figured out that luxury isn’t always about marble lobbies and overpriced minibars – sometimes it’s about consistently doing the fundamentals really, really well. The WiFi worked everywhere (tested it), the noise levels were reasonable even on weekend nights, and I never had to wait around wondering where housekeeping was or why my towels hadn’t been replaced. It’s the kind of place where everything just functions the way you hope it will, without any drama or complications. Honestly, I’d choose this over plenty of higher-rated places I’ve stayed – there’s something to be said for a hotel that understands its strengths and delivers on them every single time.

  Wow, the number was on a top floor of a large privat house. It had manicured garden and pinetrees. Very fresh air. The hosts were very friendly and did not mind us using pool. Very happy with the stay.

  The place was really great: the pool; the grill; our apartment was very spacious… we traveled with 2 kids and they also loved it.
  The owners were also very nice people, always willing to help.
  It was a quiet neighbourhood but there were good connections and also we found Bolt Drive nearby so we could drive to the city centre.

  The apartment is excellent for a family. It has everything that you need inside the apartment. The pool was there bit we didn’t get the chance to use it because the water was cold. Also, the place was very quiet because so you can enjoy a good night sleep.
