The Šeškinė neighborhood isn’t going to win any beauty contests, but it’s got character – Soviet-era apartment blocks mixed with newer developments, and honestly, after a day of tourist stuff, it felt refreshing to come back somewhere that wasn’t crawling with other visitors taking photos of everything. The check-in was straightforward, none of that overly formal hotel dance, just practical keys and directions.
