I mean, you’re literally a two-minute walk from Cathedral Square, but it feels like you’ve discovered some local secret.

The thing about Jimmy Jumps is that it doesn’t try to be fancy in that generic boutique hotel way. No official star rating, but honestly, who cares? The rooms have this comfortable, lived-in vibe that feels more like staying at a friend’s really cool apartment than some sterile hotel room. The owners clearly put thought into the details – I’m talking about things like actually good lighting for reading, proper hooks in the bathroom (you’d be surprised how many places miss this), and windows that open properly so you can hear the church bells in the morning. There’s character in the old building’s bones, with these thick walls that keep things surprisingly quiet even when there’s a bit of nightlife happening on nearby Pilies street. The neighborhood itself is perfect for exploring on foot – you’ve got Literatų street with all those literary plaques just around the corner, and if you walk five minutes toward Užupis, you’ll hit some of the best little cafes in the city.

What really sold me on this place was the genuine feel of everything. The 8.4 rating makes sense because it’s not trying to be all things to all people – it’s just really good at what it does. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that over-the-top hospitality theater you sometimes get. The staff actually knows the neighborhood and can point you toward places locals go, not just the obvious tourist spots. Parking can be a bit tricky in Old Town (honestly, it always is), but they’ll sort you out with options nearby. I stayed here during late spring when Vilnius gets those long, bright evenings, and there’s something magical about wandering back through those narrow streets after dinner, knowing you’ve got this cozy spot waiting. If you’re the type who wants a cookie-cutter hotel experience, this probably isn’t for you. But if you appreciate places with actual personality that make you feel connected to where you’re staying, Jimmy Jumps House delivers exactly that kind of experience.

  The place was in a central location, which was definitelly a positive thing, atmosphere inside was very cozy but still lively.
  People working there were also very cool.
  Thanks to the guy who was volunteering there i was able to see many things that i would have missed otherwise

  Stay here for a week, room and toilet quiet clean.
  They changed hand towel everyday, no shoe inside.
  the owner and staff always greets everyone.
  They has information how to explore the town.
  My favourite bed is down stair 6 bed next to heater.
  The location not really close to bus stop because their location in old town but still reachable by taxi. in case you need take a taxi.
  
  Maybe owner should make some point about not to spray parfume in the room. Because when i stay, there is a bad smoker guest in my room, he smell stink and he spray his parfume entire room. 😭😭
  
  What could be improved: Upstair room lack of heater, will be cold in winter but good for summer because its cold.

  Central location in the city centre, quite cozy, and a good place to meet fellow travellers from all over the world. Very positive experience.
  
  What could be improved: Wifi does not work in all the rooms. Staff is reachable, but not necessarily present at the location. For people who like it quiet, the location is located on a street with many bars. (I didn't mind that.) Bathroom only had a bathtub for showers.

  Super cozy, sweet hostel with a perfect size in my opinion, neither too big nor too small in my opinion! I really had the feeling that the owners care about their property and the guests are their priority. I really liked that you have to put off your shoes so it makes you feel home and it was really clean. I also had some nice talks to some other guests and can just imagine that more is going on during spring to autumn:)
