Walking up to Jimmy Jumps House on Savičiaus Street, you’d honestly never guess what’s waiting inside from the modest exterior. This four-star boutique spot sits right in the heart of Vilnius Old Town, and I mean really in the heart — you’re literally surrounded by cobblestone streets and medieval architecture. The entrance feels almost secretive, like you’re being let in on something special that most tourists just walk past.

Location Magic

Here’s what I love about this place — you can stumble out the front door and be at Vilnius Cathedral in about eight minutes on foot. The location is genuinely incredible, which explains why couples rate it so highly for romantic getaways. You know what’s really nice? You’re close enough to everything that matters, but Savičiaus Street itself is actually pretty quiet, especially in the evenings. I’ve stayed in Old Town hotels where the street noise kept me up, but this wasn’t one of them.

The Space Itself

The room I stayed in had this interesting mix of modern comfort and old-world charm that actually works. The building has character — I mean, you’re in a historic area, so there are quirks like slightly uneven floors and thick walls that make everything feel solid and authentic. What surprised me was how well they’ve managed to fit contemporary amenities into what’s clearly an older structure. The bathroom was compact but well-designed, and honestly, the bed was more comfortable than I expected from a boutique property.

Neighborhood Insights

Being on Savičiaus Street puts you in this sweet spot where you can explore the Old Town without feeling like you’re constantly fighting tourist crowds. There’s a great little café about two blocks away that locals actually use — not just a tourist trap. The street itself connects nicely to the main walking routes, so you’ll find yourself naturally discovering those hidden courtyards and small galleries that make Vilnius special. I spent one morning just wandering the immediate area and kept finding these little architectural details you’d miss if you were staying somewhere more obvious.

  The place was in a central location, which was definitelly a positive thing, atmosphere inside was very cozy but still lively.
  People working there were also very cool.

  Stay here for a week, room and toilet quiet clean.
  They changed hand towel everyday, no shoe inside.
  the owner and staff always greets everyone.
  They has information how to explore the town.
  My favourite bed is down stair 6 bed next to heater.
  The location not really close to bus stop because their location in old town but still reachable by taxi. in case you need take a taxi.
  
  Maybe owner should make some point about not to spray parfume in the room. Because when i stay, there is a bad smoker guest in my room, he smell stink and he spray his parfume entire room. 😭😭

  Central location in the city centre, quite cozy, and a good place to meet fellow travellers from all over the world. Very positive experience.
  
  What could be improved: Wifi does not work in all the rooms. Staff is reachable, but not necessarily present at the location. For people who like it quiet, the location is located on a street with many bars. (I didn't mind that.) Bathroom only had a bathtub for showers.

  Super cozy, sweet hostel with a perfect size in my opinion, neither too big nor too small in my opinion! I really had the feeling that the owners care about their property and the guests are their priority. I really liked that you have to put off your shoes so it makes you feel home and it was really clean. I also had some nice talks to some other guests and can just imagine that more is going on during spring to autumn:)
