The Wi-Fi actually works everywhere (I tested it, trust me), there’s proper blackout curtains for those bright summer nights, and the breakfast – well, it’s not some sad continental spread. They do these incredible local pastries and source their honey from somewhere nearby that tastes like nothing I’ve had before. The shower pressure is surprisingly good for an older building, and you don’t hear every footstep from the room above, which is honestly rare in boutique places like this. I also appreciated that check-in was relaxed – none of that rigid “check-in starts at exactly 3 PM” nonsense. They stored my bags early and gave me recommendations for the area that weren’t just the usual tourist traps. There’s this sense that they actually care about your experience rather than just processing you through. Sure, it’s not luxury-level amenities, but everything works well and feels thoughtful. If you’re looking for a place that feels authentically local without sacrificing comfort, this is exactly what you want.
