I mean, with a name like that, I was expecting something a bit gimmicky – but honestly, this little spot on Subačiaus Street surprised me in the best way. The building itself is tucked into one of those charming cobblestone streets in Vilnius Old Town, and when you’re walking up to it, you pass these gorgeous medieval buildings that make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. The entrance is actually pretty understated (I almost walked past it the first time), but once you’re inside, there’s this cozy, residential feel that immediately puts you at ease.

The real magic happens when you get to that jacuzzi they’re talking about – and trust me, the tower view is legit. From the tub, you can see Gediminas Tower perched up on the hill, especially beautiful at sunset when the whole thing glows golden. It’s not a massive space, honestly, but there’s something intimate about soaking in warm water while looking out at one of Lithuania’s most iconic landmarks. The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a hotel – the kind of friend who has really good taste and keeps everything spotless. I loved that you could walk to Cathedral Square in about five minutes, and Pilies Street with all its amber shops and cafés is literally around the corner.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, even though you’re right in the heart of the Old Town. Subačiaus Street doesn’t get the heavy foot traffic that some of the main tourist drags do, so you can actually sleep with the windows cracked open and just hear the occasional late-night wanderer on the cobblestones below. The check-in process was refreshingly simple – no stuffy lobby or formal procedures, just straightforward communication and clear directions. Sure, it’s a 3-star place so you’re not getting room service or a concierge, but honestly? You don’t need it when Užupis (that quirky artists’ republic) is a ten-minute stroll away and you’ve got authentic Lithuanian restaurants like Etno Dvaras just down the street. The only minor thing I’d mention is that parking can be tricky in this area – the Old Town streets are narrow and mostly pedestrian-only, so you’ll probably want to use one of the nearby lots. But really, once you’re settled in with that tower view and the whole city at your doorstep, you won’t be thinking about your car much anyway.

  Obiekt ma bardzo dobra lokalizacje przy samym centrum niedaleko Ostrej Bramy i innych ważnych zabytkow Wilnie. Przyjazne i pomocne panie sąsiadki.
  
  What could be improved: Brakowało mydła w łazience i wieszaków na reczniki. Dosyć ciasna łazienka ze względu na duza wannę z jacuzzi. Brak instrukcji dotyczącej rozkładanego pojedynczego łóżka. Trochę utrudniony dostęp do mieszkania dla osób podróżujących samochodem ze względu na konieczność odnalezienia pilota do bramy, po którego trzeba pójść do skrzynki pod drzwiami, a następnie otworzyc szlaban i wjechać na podwórko.
