When I first walked in, I was expecting something cheesy, but honestly, they’ve managed to keep it charming without going overboard. There are subtle monkey touches throughout (think tasteful artwork and the occasional whimsical detail), but it never feels like you’re staying inside a zoo gift shop.

The apartments themselves are surprisingly spacious – I mean, you’re getting proper living space here, not just a cramped hotel room with a mini-fridge. The kitchen setup is actually functional too, which is rare. I’ve stayed in plenty of “aparthotels” where the kitchen is more decorative than useful, but here you could genuinely cook a decent meal if you wanted to. The whole place has this lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake, like staying at a friend’s well-appointed guest suite. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no lengthy presentations about amenities I’ll never use or pushy upselling attempts.

What really impressed me was the attention to details that actually matter when you’re traveling. The Wi-Fi doesn’t mysteriously cut out every twenty minutes, the shower has proper water pressure (seriously underrated until you don’t have it), and the beds are firm enough that you won’t wake up feeling like you wrestled with a marshmallow all night. The cleaning standards are spot-on too – everything feels fresh without that overwhelming chemical smell some places hit you with. I stayed during what seemed like a busy period, but the building stays surprisingly quiet. You might hear the occasional footstep from upstairs, but nothing that’ll keep you up at night. The staff genuinely seems to care about making sure things run smoothly, which you can tell from those little touches – like actually having enough towels and keeping the common areas tidy throughout the day. For a 3-star place, they’re definitely punching above their weight class, and that 9.7 rating makes total sense once you’ve spent a night or two here.
