ibis Vilnius Centre Overview
Look, I’ll be straight with you about ibis Vilnius Centre – it’s one of those places that just gets the basics absolutely right, which honestly is harder to find than you’d think in Vilnius. The location alone makes it worth considering, sitting right in the heart of the old town where you can actually walk to pretty much everything that matters. I mean, you’re literally steps away from Cathedral Square and the cobblestone streets that make this city so charming, but without the tourist trap pricing of some of the boutique places.
What struck me most was how clean and efficient everything felt – and I don’t mean sterile, just… organized in that French way that ibis does well. The lobby’s got this modern but warm vibe, and the staff actually seem to know the city beyond just pointing you toward the obvious attractions. One guy at reception told me about this little coffee spot on Pilies Street that I never would have found otherwise, and honestly, that kind of local insight is worth its weight in gold when you’re exploring a place like Vilnius. The rooms themselves are compact but thoughtfully designed – everything you need is there, the Wi-Fi actually works (tested it extensively for work calls), and the beds are surprisingly comfortable for a 3-star place. The soundproofing is pretty decent too, which matters when you’re right in the city center and there’s nightlife happening around you.
Here’s the thing that really won me over though – it’s the little touches that show they understand travelers. The breakfast spread is solid without being overwhelming, there’s always hot coffee available in the lobby, and they’ve got this 24-hour front desk that’s actually helpful at odd hours, not just there for show. Parking can be a bit tricky in this part of Vilnius (well, it’s tricky everywhere in the old town really), but they’ve sorted out arrangements that work. You know what impressed me most? The value proposition. With ratings consistently in the high 8s, you’re getting quality that punches above its 3-star weight class, and in a city where accommodation can be hit-or-miss, that consistency matters. Whether you’re here for business or just exploring the Baltic capitals, this place gives you a reliable home base without breaking the bank or making you feel like you’re slumming it.

The breakfast was amazing, I loved the variety of the dish which were available. Not only hot dishes, but they also had pastries, and hot beverages. In short, they have basically what you would expect for breakfast and better. The room was lovely and clean. The staffs are great, they were so incredibly nice. I definitely would come back here again.

As a visibility Muslim woman, I always have a slight dread of how I'd be treated when travelling to European countries in the current climate. However, I never felt any kind of animosity at all with Ibis. I felt safe and enjoyed my stay a lot.
Very clean room and hotel in general. Very friendly, helpful staff too. Variety of choices for breakfast too. They provide alternative vegan food for those who do not eat dairy.
Just note that the hotel that doesn't have all the amenities in the room. They provided the very basic amenities such as towel, toilet roll (obviously) and that's it. No kettle, coffee, tea, toothbrush etc or an extra dustbin in the room just one in the bathroom.
Overall, it is a nice, chilled and friendly hotel and in a very good location.Claudia from Romania (9/10)
Great location, everything is pretty close on foot. I barely needed to use the bus (bus station near). Breakfast is very various and delicios, it's hard to decide what to eat😄The hotel is new, very well taken care of, clean and comfortable. Also, comfortable mattress. Very silent,I had slept very good.
