Hotel Rinno Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Hotel Rinno on Vingriu street, you immediately get that feeling you’ve stumbled onto something good. This three-star property sits right in the heart of Old Town Vilnius, and honestly, the location alone makes it worth considering. The building has that understated European charm — not flashy, but you can tell they’ve put thought into the details. I mean, when couples are rating the location a 9.2, they’re clearly doing something right with the neighborhood they’ve chosen.
The Perfect Old Town Spot
What really strikes me about this place is how they’ve managed to land in such a prime spot without the tourist trap feel. You’re literally surrounded by cobblestone streets and medieval architecture, but you’re not paying those inflated prices you’d expect. The Old Town here isn’t just pretty to look at — you can actually walk to everything that matters. Cathedral Square is maybe a five-minute stroll, and you know what? You’ll find yourself taking the long way back just because the streets are that charming. There’s something about being able to step out your hotel door and immediately feel like you’re exploring rather than just… staying somewhere.
Sleep Quality That Actually Delivers
Here’s where Hotel Rinno really surprised me — the beds are genuinely comfortable, not just hotel-marketing comfortable. They’ve got this reputation for great sleep, and after spending a few nights there, I get it. The room I stayed in wasn’t huge, but it was thoughtfully laid out with blackout curtains that actually work (you’d be amazed how rare that is). The noise level is remarkably low considering you’re in the middle of a historic city center. I think it’s partly the building’s construction and partly just good fortune with the street positioning.
Breakfast Worth Getting Up For
The breakfast setup here is actually pretty impressive for a three-star place. They’ve got this buffet spread that covers all the bases — continental options, American-style items, and they’re surprisingly good with vegetarian choices. What I really appreciated was the “breakfast to go” option, which came in handy when I had an early walking tour planned. The quality is consistent too, which tells me they’re paying attention to the details that matter. It’s not fancy, but it’s done well, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want.
Why Guests Keep Coming Back
There’s clearly something special happening here because they’ve got more repeat guests than most other properties in the area — and that says everything, really. I think it comes down to them understanding what travelers actually need: a great location, comfortable sleep, solid breakfast, and fair pricing. The 8.9 rating reflects that balance perfectly. You’re not getting five-star amenities, but you’re getting three-star service that punches above its weight. For exploring Vilnius, especially if you’re planning to spend most of your time wandering the Old Town, this place just makes sense.

Good small hotel, close to train station and old town. Very good breakfast served from 8am with a choice of omelette, scrambled eggs or pancakes made fresh at no extra cost. Reception only open until 8pm, but they will give a code to open the door.

I’ve stayed at the Rinno before so there were not many surprises. It’s a good option for those looking to economize a little, though admittedly the pricing was, in fact, relatively commensurate with newer, more modern options. It’s by no means a bargain. Good breakfast. Very helpful staff helped me navigate some reservation issues I created for myself.

Perfect hotel, conveniently located near the city center and the bus stop. Great price, and the neighborhood is very quiet. The hotel is very clean, and there’s a hot water machine with complimentary coffee and tea. The receptionist was very kind and gentle.
Didn't tried the breakfast as I am on a diet, but it looked awesome!
