Hotel Rinno Overview
You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from Hotel Rinno when I first walked in – honestly, three-star places can be pretty hit or miss – but this spot actually surprised me in the best way. The lobby has this warm, lived-in feeling that immediately puts you at ease, and the staff behind the front desk genuinely seemed happy to see me arrive (which, let’s be real, doesn’t always happen). What really caught my attention was how quiet everything felt once I got to my room, even though you can tell this place stays pretty busy. The rooms themselves are exactly what you’d want – clean, comfortable beds that don’t make your back ache, and bathrooms that actually have decent water pressure. I mean, these aren’t the fanciest accommodations you’ll ever see, but there’s something refreshing about a place that just does the basics really well without trying to be something it’s not.
The thing that keeps sticking with me about this place is how it manages to feel both professional and genuinely welcoming at the same time. During my stay, I noticed other guests seemed relaxed and content – you can usually tell when people are happy with where they’re staying by how they act in the common areas. The housekeeping team clearly takes pride in their work (my room was spotless every single day), and check-in was smooth without any of those annoying surprise fees or complicated key card situations. What I really appreciated was that when I had a simple question about the area, the person at reception actually knew the answer and gave me a couple of solid local recommendations that weren’t just tourist traps. Honestly, for the price point, the whole experience felt like getting way more value than I paid for – which is pretty rare these days. If you’re looking for a place that delivers on the fundamentals without any pretense, this is definitely worth considering. It’s the kind of spot where you’ll sleep well, start your day feeling refreshed, and not spend your whole trip thinking about hotel problems.

Good small hotel, close to train station and old town. Very good breakfast served from 8am with a choice of omelette, scrambled eggs or pancakes made fresh at no extra cost. Reception only open until 8pm, but they will give a code to open the door.

I’ve stayed at the Rinno before so there were not many surprises. It’s a good option for those looking to economize a little, though admittedly the pricing was, in fact, relatively commensurate with newer, more modern options. It’s by no means a bargain. Good breakfast. Very helpful staff helped me navigate some reservation issues I created for myself.

Perfect hotel, conveniently located near the city center and the bus stop. Great price, and the neighborhood is very quiet. The hotel is very clean, and there’s a hot water machine with complimentary coffee and tea. The receptionist was very kind and gentle.
Didn't tried the breakfast as I am on a diet, but it looked awesome!
