The breakfast deserves a mention – it’s got that international hotel spread you’d expect, but they also include some local Lithuanian items that are worth trying. The staff genuinely seem to know the city well, which is refreshing. When I asked about getting to Užupis (that quirky artists’ district everyone talks about), the concierge gave me walking directions that included a shortcut through a small park I never would have found otherwise. Check-in was smooth, though I’d recommend booking directly through IHG if you’re a member – they seem to take care of loyalty program guests particularly well here. Parking is available, which isn’t always a given in Vilnius city center, though there’s a fee involved. The location puts you within walking distance of the main shopping areas and most of the tourist sites, but it’s positioned just enough away from the Old Town chaos that you can actually get some sleep at night. With a rating of 9 out of 10, this place clearly knows what it’s doing – it’s the kind of hotel where business travelers and tourists both feel comfortable, without either group feeling out of place.
