I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Historic & modern Arch-Studio – ArcLoft07 on Visų Šventųjų street, I almost missed it entirely. It’s tucked right into the cobblestone heart of Vilnius Old Town in this understated way that made me do a double-take once I realized what I’d stumbled into. You know how some places try way too hard to blend historic and modern? Well, this actually pulls it off without making you cringe.

The building itself sits on one of those narrow medieval streets where you can practically touch the walls on both sides if you stretch your arms out. What’s brilliant about this place is how they’ve managed to preserve all the original architectural details – I’m talking exposed brick walls, those chunky wooden beams overhead, the works – while somehow making it feel completely livable for someone who needs decent WiFi and doesn’t want to sleep on a straw mattress. The studio setup is surprisingly spacious too, which matters when you’re dealing with Old Town real estate where closets sometimes masquerade as hotel rooms. I mean, you’re still in a historic building so don’t expect soaring ceilings everywhere, but there’s actual room to unpack your suitcase without playing Tetris.

Location-wise, you’re literally a two-minute walk from Cathedral Square, and honestly, being on Visų Šventųjų means you’re close enough to everything that matters but just far enough off the main tourist drag that you won’t have drunk bachelor parties stumbling past your window at 3 AM. The street gets this lovely morning light that filters through the old buildings, and there’s something really satisfying about having your coffee while watching locals hurry off to work on the cobblestones below. Parking is… well, it’s Old Town, so forget about driving here unless you enjoy circling medieval streets for an hour looking for a spot that probably doesn’t exist. But the airport bus stops pretty close by, and you can walk to Gedimino Avenue in about ten minutes when you need proper shopping or restaurants. What really impressed me was how quiet it gets at night despite being so central – those thick old walls definitely earn their keep. The whole experience feels less like staying in a hotel and more like borrowing a friend’s impossibly cool apartment, assuming your friend has impeccable taste and lives in a UNESCO World Heritage site. That 9.8 rating isn’t just people being generous either – this place genuinely delivers on the promise of experiencing Vilnius like you actually belong here.

  The apartment is spacious and has very exceptional design. Located in a basement of some old historical building, not much sunlight, but very quiet. Well equipped, comfortable bed. Decent location.
  
  What could be improved: The entrance has some steep narrow stairs, that I think for some people with large/heavy luggage might be a bit challenging.

  Ļoti moderns risinājums piekļuvei numuriņam un atslēgām, bet tas radīja arī sarežģījumus.
