Location & Neighborhood

Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re literally in the heart of everything without feeling like you’re trapped in a tourist bubble. The cobblestone streets around Sodų are lined with those little cafes where locals actually hang out, not just the touristy ones. You can walk to Cathedral Square in about five minutes, but you’re also close enough to some of the quieter corners of the Old Town where you’ll find the best amber shops and those tiny galleries that most people miss. Couples seem to really get this location (they rate it super high), and I can see why — there’s something romantic about being able to wander these medieval streets right from your doorstep.

The Room Experience

The room setup here is pretty smart, actually. They’ve managed to give each space a bit of personality while keeping things practical for travelers. The beds are comfortable enough that you’ll sleep well after a day of exploring, and there’s decent storage space — which matters more than you’d think when you’re living out of a suitcase. The bathrooms are clean and modern, with good water pressure (trust me, this isn’t always a given in Old Town properties).   What could be improved: They ask me to pay extra 5€ for arriving late when in the messages they told me to pay just 3€. I just arrived late and wanted to sleep so no way to discuss. Additionally, I don’t know why, in the room I was sleeping the light was turned on whole night, it was uncomfortable

  The lady was very sweet, kind.
  Decent kitchen.
  
  What could be improved: Is a bit scary.
  Owner told us to take anything value with us because “everyone steals.” So we walked with our bags in the town. People that stay there are vagrants and odd folks, some have bad manners. Overall not a bad hostel but could have better enforcement of the rules, def do not recommend you stay unless everything else is taken.

  The owner was very helpful, even when I woke her up at 1.30AM. Also the location was easily accessible and near important things like supermarkets too.
  
  What could be improved: Some people were snoring. Also the beds were a bit short for tall people. I'm 184cm and was not able to fit to the bed easily.
