I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name HaPPy Inn GOLD Studio, self check-in, Parking in the underground garage, I thought it sounded a bit much. You know how some places try to cram their entire selling point into the name? But actually walking into this place on Labdarių street completely changed my mind. It’s tucked away on the second floor of this charming building right in the heart of Vilnius Old Town, and the moment you step inside, you get why they’re so proud of what they’ve created.

The self check-in thing worried me at first – I mean, what if something goes wrong? – but it’s honestly brilliant. They’ve got this smooth system that actually makes arriving feel less awkward than standing around a lobby waiting for someone to find your reservation. And that underground parking they mention in the name? Pure gold if you’re driving in Vilnius. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve circled those narrow cobblestone streets looking for a spot, especially near Cathedral Square or around Pilies Street. Having a guaranteed underground space just a few steps from your room feels like winning the lottery. The studio itself has this fresh, modern vibe that somehow doesn’t clash with the old-world charm seeping through the windows. You can actually hear the church bells from St. Anne’s when the wind’s right, which sounds touristy but is surprisingly soothing when you’re settling in for the night.

What really got me was how they’ve thought through the little things that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The kitchenette isn’t just for show – it’s genuinely functional, and there’s a decent grocery store just down on Vokiečių street if you want to grab supplies. The whole area around Labdarių is perfect for that mix of tourist exploring and normal life – you can walk to the Gates of Dawn in about eight minutes, but you’re also close enough to the business district that it doesn’t feel like you’re trapped in a museum. The 8.9 rating makes sense once you’ve stayed there; it’s not trying to be a luxury palace, but everything works exactly as it should. The Wi-Fi is solid (I was working remotely part of the time), the shower pressure is actually decent, and the bed is comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with the mattress all night. Honestly, the only minor thing that bugged me was that the street can get a bit lively on weekend evenings – but that’s Old Town for you, and the windows do a pretty good job keeping most of the noise out.

  This extremely comfortable and well-equipped apartment is in an excellent location to explore Vilnius. It was great to be able to return to the apartment to rest briefly during the day, and to have the flexibility of cooking meals or heading around the corner to an exceptional variety of restaurants!

  The apartment is just 5 minutes walking distance from the cathedral. It is cozy, clean and well furnished. The host is super nice and responsive. Bed is very comfortable too. It was a lovely experience for us.
