I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Green Vilnius Hotel, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes those assumptions get turned upside down, and this was definitely one of those times. The lobby has this surprisingly cozy vibe going on, with these warm wood accents and plants scattered around (hence the “Green” name, I’m guessing). It actually feels more like a boutique spot than your typical mid-range chain hotel.

The staff here really made the difference for me. I mean, they’re genuinely helpful without that overly rehearsed friendliness you get at some places. When I was trying to figure out the best way to get to the Old Town, the front desk guy – Tomas, I think his name was – actually drew me a little map showing which cobblestone streets to avoid if I was planning to walk in heels (spoiler alert: most of them). The rooms are clean and comfortable, nothing fancy but they’ve got everything you need. The beds are actually pretty decent – firm but not rock-hard, and the pillows don’t go flat after one night. I stayed on the fourth floor and it was surprisingly quiet, even though Vilnius can get a bit lively on weekend nights.

What I really appreciated was how the hotel sits in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to everything that matters but not right in the tourist chaos. You can walk to most of the main attractions without breaking a sweat, but when you come back at night, it’s peaceful enough to actually get some sleep. The breakfast spread is solid too – nothing Instagram-worthy, but they’ve got local breads, good coffee (important!), and some Lithuanian specialties that are worth trying. I kept going back for this particular cheese they had that I never did figure out the name of. The 7.6 rating feels about right to me – it’s not going to blow your mind, but it delivers on what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. For the price point, honestly, I’d stay here again.

  Very good match for the price-value, especially when travelling with quite a big family, when you have limited offers available on the market (only 2 different rooms offers within the single hotel are available for 5 people: 2 adults and 3 kids). Positive and friendly staff, parking included into the price and had free slots.
  Breakfast was fine enough, not excellent – but was good to be not hungry and survive till lunch time – the menu was good for both adults and kids
