Tucked away on Studentų gatvė in Zverynas, this place sits in one of those quietly hip Vilnius neighborhoods that most tourists completely miss, which honestly works in your favor. The whole area has this leafy, residential vibe that feels authentically Lithuanian rather than touristy, and you’re literally a fifteen-minute walk to Old Town but without any of that medieval cobblestone charm wearing thin on your feet every single day.

The apartment itself surprised me – I was expecting typical budget accommodation (it’s a 3-star place, after all), but whoever designed this space actually thought about how people live, not just sleep. The kitchen setup is proper functional, which matters if you’re staying more than a couple nights and want to grab groceries from that little Maxima down the street instead of eating out constantly. The bathroom has decent water pressure – honestly, you’d be amazed how many places in this part of Europe still struggle with that basic necessity. What really won me over though was the attention to small details: proper blackout curtains (essential during those endless Baltic summer nights), reliable WiFi that doesn’t cut out every hour, and – this might sound silly – but actual comfortable seating that isn’t just a desk chair. The whole place feels like someone’s thoughtfully furnished spare room rather than a sterile hotel box.

Here’s the thing about staying in Zverynas that nobody tells you: you’re perfectly positioned to experience Vilnius like locals do. That little park along Neris River? Perfect for morning runs or evening walks when the city feels too intense. The bus connections are actually better than from some central hotels – line 1 gets you anywhere you need to go, and parking is free on the street (try finding that in Old Town). I mean, sure, you won’t have a hotel lobby to impress anyone, and there’s no concierge to arrange tours, but you’ll save money and probably have more authentic experiences. The 9.3 rating isn’t just people being nice – this place delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense. It’s clean, comfortable, well-located, and reasonably priced. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need, especially if you’re planning to actually explore the city instead of hanging around your accommodation all day.

  What could be improved: Mes buvome užsirezervavę būtent šį apartamentą tačiau dieną prieš atvykstant mums buvo pranešta, kad mes negalėsime apsigyventi jame, nes butas buvo overbookintas. Mums buvo pasiūlyta kita vieta, kuri turėjo būti dar erdvesnė ir net su daugiau lovų ir kambarių. Šita išgirdę tikejomės tokios pat aukštos kokybės kambario, bet gavome ofisą, kuriame buvo 4 lovos ir nė viena iš jų nebuvo patogios. Trūko ir kitų patogumų, kaip virtuvės, nes joje tebuvo mikrobangų krosnelė ir virdulys su vienkartiniais indais, taip pat nebuvo šilto vandens. Nebuvo normalios kriauklės. Iš vis butas buvo labai nejaukus, buvo sunku išilsėti. Esame labai pasipiktine.
