Check-in was actually pleasant – the staff genuinely seemed to care about making sure I knew about the walking trails that start basically right behind the property.

What really sets this place apart is how quiet it gets, especially in the evenings. I stayed on a weeknight in late spring, and honestly, the silence was almost startling after coming from the city. You get these incredible forest sounds instead – birds in the early morning, that gentle rustling I mentioned, sometimes even what I’m pretty sure were deer moving around just beyond the tree line. The rooms themselves are nothing fancy but they’re spotless and surprisingly comfortable. Mine had this big window facing the woods, and I actually found myself just sitting there with coffee in the mornings watching the light filter through the branches. The beds are better than you’d expect for a 3-star – I slept incredibly well, though that might’ve been partly due to the fresh air and complete lack of traffic noise.

I mean, if you’re looking for nightlife or fancy restaurants within walking distance, this isn’t your spot. But there’s something to be said for a place where you can actually disconnect a bit. The nearest town is maybe a 10-minute drive, so you’re not completely isolated, but far enough out that you feel like you’ve escaped somewhere. The breakfast area has these big windows overlooking the forest, and they serve this simple but really good spread – nothing elaborate, just fresh bread, local honey, decent coffee. It’s the kind of place where you end up lingering longer than planned because everything feels unhurried.   This location is very private and safe, which was an unexpected bonus. It is gated and behind another house, so you feel a bit tucked away. The neighborhood is so lovely during the summer. The area is referred to as the "garden district" with many lovely homes, forest trails nearby and tons of fruit trees and families growing vegetables. The house was roomy and sufficiently equipped. We appreciated having water bottles available upon our arrival. There is a bus stop close to the house if you are comfortable taking public transportation in Lithuania.

  The location is excellent because surrounded by nearby private house with excellent neighbors. The pine forest is 300 m away with lane for bikes, runners, and pedestrians. It's silent and quite quiet place.
