But walking up to the property, there’s actually this lovely garden area (okay, so the name makes sense) that immediately gives you a different vibe than your typical hotel setup.

The thing about staying in apartment-style places is that you never quite know if you’re going to feel like you’re crashing in someone’s spare room or actually getting a proper place to decompress. This one definitely leans toward the latter. The units have this lived-in comfort without feeling, well, too lived-in, if you know what I mean. I particularly loved having actual counter space in the kitchenette – sounds silly, but when you’re trying to organize your day over coffee, it makes a real difference. The beds are surprisingly solid too, which honestly wasn’t something I was banking on from a 3-star place.

What really won me over though was how quiet it stays, even when it seems pretty full. You get the sense that a lot of guests are either here for longer stays or just naturally respectful of the space – there’s none of that hotel hallway chaos you sometimes deal with. The whole setup feels more like a neighborhood spot than a tourist hub, which I actually found pretty refreshing. Parking was straightforward (always a relief), and the staff seem to know their regulars, which tells you something about the kind of repeat business they get. I’d honestly go back – sometimes you stumble onto these places that just work without trying too hard to impress you, and this feels like one of those finds.

  Great location near the Old Town wall, easy walk to the heart of Old Town, Gate of Dawn, and Lidl (for grocery shopping). Great water pressure in shower, kitchen has all that you need including a microwave, TV with Netflix access was nice to have.

  On the edge of the old town, but not right in the heart which would be noisy. Clean, with a good bathroom/shower and a small kitchen and fridge.

  Great location- just a 5-minute stroll from the old town. The apartment was spacious and clean. The living room and bedroom were separated by a wall which created a nice space. The bathroom was large enough and clean. The kitchen was well stocked and even had a dishwasher. Check in instructions were all very clear.
