The apartment itself has that clean, minimalist Scandinavian vibe that Lithuanians do so well – nothing fancy, but everything you actually need. The kitchen’s properly equipped, not just some sad mini-fridge situation, and the Wi-Fi actually works reliably, which honestly can’t be said for every place in the city. What really struck me was how quiet it gets at night, even though you’re still connected to everything. Snipiskes has this residential feel that lets you pretend you’re living like a local instead of just passing through.

The 9.2 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here – it’s one of those places that just gets the basics right without any fuss. The check-in was smooth (they’re pretty flexible with timing, which saved me when my flight got delayed), and there’s a Maxima grocery store literally around the corner if you want to stock up on Lithuanian dark bread and those amazing local cheeses. Plus, if you’re into the whole Soviet history thing, you’re walking distance from some interesting brutalist architecture that most tourists never see because they stick to the medieval stuff. I actually ended up extending my stay an extra night because it felt more like borrowing a friend’s apartment than being stuck in a hotel room. It’s not going to wow you with marble bathrooms or concierge service, but sometimes you just want a clean, comfortable base where you can spread out your stuff and figure out your next move without breaking the bank.

  Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom for a short or a long stay. On-site free parking. Lots of power outlets around the apartment in very convenient places. It was nice and warm in the apartment with cold weather outside. There is a huge shopping mall not very far from the apartment. Waze navigation software knows the right turn to reach the location. Very quiet surroundings despite big roads nearby.
  
  What could be improved: Apartment was located on the 3rd floor and no elevator available, something to consider if you have few heavy luggage bags with you. The boiler is quite loud, especially at night, so we had to sleep with a closed door. Cleanliness was not that good, especially inside drawers and hard to reach corners, but our child did reach everything. Host stopped responding in the evening before checkout and we had to figure out how to return the keys ourselves.

  Apartament przestronny, cichy, dobrze wyposażony. Bardzo wygodne łóżka, super garderoba, balkon, parking – jest wszystko co trzeba, a cena nie wygórowana. Gospodarze mili, dobra komunikacja po angielsku. Łatwy dojazd do większości atrakcji Wilna.
  
  What could be improved: Roleta w jednym oknie sypialni nie działała, słońce budziło nas z samego rana. Drzwi do łazienki nie miały zamka, przez co pobyt w toalecie mógł być stresujący 🙂 Podobnie brak zamka do sypialni, ale to już każdy sam musi uważać, co tam robi 🙂

  What could be improved: Nepastebėjau kondicionieriaus, tai karštą vasaros dieną neaišku kaip būtų. Bet pastato sienos storos, neturėtų perkaisti.
