The whole vibe is refreshingly unpretentious. The owners clearly put thought into the small stuff that actually matters when you’re traveling – like having proper blackout curtains (seriously, Lithuanian summer nights are bright), decent water pressure, and coffee that doesn’t taste like it came from a machine that’s seen better decades. The rooms have this clean, minimalist thing going on without feeling sterile, and honestly, I slept better here than I did at that overpriced place near Cathedral Square last year. What really won me over was how quiet it gets at night – Fabijoniškės isn’t exactly a party district, so you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling around at 3 AM.

Here’s the thing about staying in this neighborhood – you’re actually getting a glimpse of how regular Vilnius residents live, which I found way more interesting than being stuck in the tourist bubble. There’s a decent shopping center within walking distance if you need supplies, and catching a bus into the city center takes maybe 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Plus, parking is a breeze here, which anyone who’s tried to navigate Old Town with a rental car will appreciate. The staff seemed genuinely happy to help with directions and recommendations, not just going through the motions. I was initially skeptical about a 3-star place having a 9.5 rating – seemed too good to be true – but after staying there, I get it. Sometimes you find these hidden gems that just nail the basics while bigger hotels are busy overthinking everything. It’s not luxury, but it’s comfortable, clean, and run by people who actually care about whether you have a good stay.

  The location was convenient for getting to the centre by public transport or taxi. We called the owner upon arrival and were immediately given all the instructions. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed: an ironing board with iron, a blanket, tea, coffee… It was incredibly convenient for the price. In addition, the apartment was very aesthetically pleasing.
