But walking up to this four-star property on Paupio Street, it all made sense. You’re literally in the heart of Vilnius Old Town, surrounded by cobblestone streets and medieval architecture, yet there’s this unexpectedly green, almost woodland vibe to the place. It’s like someone took the best parts of urban convenience and mixed them with that cozy, outdoorsy feeling you’d get at a mountain retreat.

Location That Actually Matters

Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places that claim to have great locations, but this one delivers. You’re a few minutes’ walk from Cathedral Square, and honestly, you can explore most of the Old Town on foot without breaking a sweat. What I really appreciated was how quiet Paupio Street feels despite being so central — you know how some downtown spots can be noisy all night? Not here. The couples I met during my stay were raving about it, and I get why the location scores so high with romantic travelers. There’s something magical about stepping out your door and being surrounded by centuries-old buildings and winding medieval streets.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was surprisingly spacious for what you’d expect from a hostel-style property. I mean, this isn’t your typical cramped backpacker spot — the four-star rating shows in the details. The beds were actually comfortable (not always a given in this price range), and there was decent storage space for longer stays. What struck me most was how they’ve managed to keep that outdoorsy, forest-like atmosphere even indoors, with natural wood elements and earthy tones that somehow work perfectly with the historic building’s character.

The continental breakfast was solid — nothing fancy, but fresh and filling enough to fuel a day of sightseeing around Vilnius. What really won me over was the parking situation. If you’re driving in the Old Town (which, let’s face it, can be a nightmare), having private parking on-site is honestly a game-changer. I watched other travelers circle the narrow streets for ages looking for spots while I just pulled right in. The staff mentioned they have quite a few repeat guests, and after staying there, I totally understand why people keep coming back.

  Very friendly staff, the property was amazing and even better for groups I am with the bbq outside. The bed was comfortable, shower and toilet did the trick. And location was not too far from city centre. Plus close to the bed, even being the top bunk.
  
  What could be improved: Unfortunately the curtains did not block off daylight, so come with a mask to avoid waking up at 6 am. But honestly was the only downside.
