Daina Apartments Self check-in Overview

I’ll be honest – when I first saw Daina Apartments Self check-in on K. Donelaičio street, I wasn’t expecting much from the outside. You know how it is with apartment buildings in Vilnius, they can look pretty Soviet-era bland from the street. But man, was I wrong about this place. The whole self check-in thing actually worked flawlessly (and I’m saying this as someone who usually struggles with those keypad entry systems), and once you’re inside, it’s like stepping into a completely different world.

What really struck me about staying here is how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between feeling like a proper hotel and having the space of an actual apartment. The units are genuinely spacious – not just “European spacious” where you can barely open your suitcase, but actually roomy enough to spread out and live a bit. I loved having a proper kitchen because, honestly, eating out in Naujamiestis every night gets expensive fast, and there’s this fantastic little market just a few blocks away where you can grab fresh stuff. The location on Donelaičio is actually perfect if you think about it – you’re right in the heart of Naujamiestis but on a quieter street, so you don’t get the weekend noise from the bars that some of the other streets deal with. I mean, you can walk to the cathedral square in maybe ten minutes, and Gedimino Avenue is right there, but you can actually sleep at night.

What impressed me most, though, was just how thoughtfully everything was set up. The Wi-Fi is properly fast (I was working remotely part of the time), there’s decent water pressure in the shower – which honestly isn’t a given in some Vilnius buildings – and they’ve clearly put real thought into the details. Little things like having enough outlets near the bed, blackout curtains that actually block light, and a coffee setup that doesn’t make you feel like you’re roughing it. The cleaning standards are spot-on too, which matters when you’re staying somewhere for more than just a night or two. I stayed there during late spring and the whole place just felt fresh and well-maintained, not like some apartment rentals where you can tell they’re cutting corners. With a 9.8 rating, you’d expect it to be good, but this place actually delivers on that promise. If you’re planning to stay in Vilnius for more than a quick weekend and want something that feels more like a temporary home than a cramped hotel room, this is exactly what you’re looking for.

Reviews of Daina Apartments Self check-in

  • I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Vilnius – it’s a perfect choice for a comfortable and hassle-free stay! – Dmitri from Estonia – August 3, 2025 (10/10)

The location was excellent – close to everything we needed. The apartment was spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable and cozy. Self check-in was smooth and easy, and the place had everything for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We would definitely come back!

  • Exceptional – Marta from Poland – July 24, 2025 (10/10)

The aparyment is very nice, well equipped and clean. Very comfortable beds, big and comfortable bathroom. Quiet neighbourhood, but still cose enough to the centre. There is also nice, big park nearby. Generalnie, the place is just lovely. Very helpful host, comfortable check-in.

What could be improved: No such thing, everything was great.

  • Exceptional – Viktorija from Latvia – June 28, 2025 (10/10)

Everything was great. Super nice and stylish apartment. Everything needed was available at the property – different shampoos, shower gels, cotton pads, blankets, microwave, coffee maker etc.
Would like to stay here again!

What could be improved: The only issue is that the living room has no curtains on the windows, there are windows in the ceiling as well. Might be an issue if someone is sleeping there, we slept in the bedroom, so for us it was not a problem.

  • Exceptional – Volodymyr from Ukraine – June 15, 2025 (10/10)

Loved absolutely everything about the place, and owner. Everything is so modern and new, best possible quality and you can find anything you could need in the trip. The owner even provided coffee and natural and sparkling water. This was the most wonderful experience for all our family
We definitely want and will come back.

Beautifully appointed large apartment recently built. Very stylish and comfortable with all mod cons and close to shops, restaurants, bus routes etc. A real touch of luxury at a great price. Can't recommend it enough. You will not be disappointed.

  • Exceptional – Alexander from Germany – July 10, 2024 (10/10)

Super stylish and charming apartment. The furniture, kitchen and the bathroom are brand new and of the highest quality. Huge TV screen.
Public parking available next to the apartment.
We got enough towels and the couch was already made for sleeping, as we were traveling for four.
