I loved walking down to the Neris River in the morning – it’s literally a five-minute stroll and there’s something really peaceful about starting your day by the water. The hotel itself feels more like a well-run guesthouse than anything corporate, which I actually preferred. The staff seemed to genuinely care about making sure you knew where to find good coffee (there’s this excellent little café called Caffeine about ten minutes away that locals actually go to) and they’ll point you toward the footbridge that gets you into Old Town in about 15 minutes on foot.

The rooms are exactly what you’d expect from the rating – clean, comfortable beds, decent WiFi, and everything works properly. Nothing fancy, but honestly, who needs fancy when you’re spending most of your time exploring the city? I will say the walls are a bit thin, so if you’re a light sleeper, maybe pack some earplugs. The neighborhood itself is pretty quiet though – mostly residential with families and older folks, so it’s not like you’re dealing with party noise. Parking was surprisingly easy to figure out, which anyone who’s driven in European city centers will appreciate. The breakfast spread was simple but solid – good bread, local cheeses, decent coffee that doesn’t taste like it came from a machine.

What I really appreciated was how the place felt authentic to Vilnius rather than like some generic European hotel. You’re staying in this beautiful old neighborhood with wooden houses and tree-lined streets, and you can actually imagine what daily life is like here. The nearby Vingis Park is perfect if you need to decompress after a day of sightseeing – locals jog there, families have picnics, and it’s got this relaxed vibe that reminded me why I love traveling to places where real people actually live. For the price point and the genuine neighborhood experience, it’s a solid choice if you want to feel more connected to the city than you would staying in some business district hotel.
