Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Cozy Penthouse, I was expecting some cramped apartment trying way too hard to sound fancy. But you know what? Sometimes places actually live up to their names, and this three-star spot really surprised me in the best way possible.

What struck me first wasn’t the view or the decor (though both are pretty solid), it was how the place just feels… right. You know that feeling when you walk into somewhere and your shoulders automatically relax? That’s this place. The penthouse setup means you’re getting actual space to breathe – I mean, we’re not talking presidential suite territory here, but there’s room to spread out your stuff without playing Tetris with your suitcase. The natural light is honestly incredible, especially in the morning when it streams through those big windows. I found myself actually wanting to wake up early just to sit with my coffee and watch the city come alive below.

The thing that really gets me about this place is the attention to small details that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The shower pressure is fantastic (seriously, why is this so rare?), there’s enough counter space in the bathroom for all your toiletries, and – this might sound weird – but the bed height is perfect. Not too high that you’re climbing up, not so low you feel like you’re sleeping on the floor. The kitchen setup is pretty thoughtful too, with actual sharp knives and cookware that doesn’t look like it survived three natural disasters. I actually cooked dinner one night instead of ordering takeout, which never happens when I travel.

Now, it’s worth mentioning that being a penthouse means you’ll hear some street noise during busy hours, but honestly, it fades into background hum pretty quickly. The elevator can be a bit slow during peak times – I started taking the stairs after day two, which wasn’t terrible exercise anyway. What really impressed me was how responsive the staff was when I had questions. No corporate script responses, just genuine helpfulness. When my key card stopped working one evening, the front desk person not only fixed it immediately but also gave me a backup “just in case the magnetic strip is acting up again.” That kind of thinking ahead makes all the difference.

The location grows on you too. At first glance, you might not think you’re in the heart of everything, but give it a day and you’ll realize you’re actually perfectly positioned. Everything you need is walkable, but you’re far enough away from the tourist chaos to feel like you’re getting a more authentic experience. I ended up extending my stay by a night because leaving felt premature – and that 9.8 rating? Yeah, I get it now. This isn’t luxury in the marble-and-gold sense, but it’s luxury in the “everything just works exactly how it should” sense, which honestly matters way more when you’re trying to enjoy your trip instead of dealing with hotel nonsense.

  Everything! Outside – very cool location close to everything Old Town Vilnius. Inside – wow! It's too bad we didn't have a longer time in Vilnius to be able to spend more time relaxing in the penthouse! A great space. Especially the little porch with view of the city rooftops.

  It’s unique. Beautiful. Vintage look. Expensive taste. Comfortable. The facilities are so good. Clean.The sofa and bed was so comfortable. Temperature well controlled.   We havet been visiting Vilnius almost every summer for 20 years now. This is the best place we have ever stayed in! The apartment is incredible nice, the atmosphere is great and we really felt like home. The hosts are very helpful and kind! The street is quiet both night and day, but still it's a lot of restaurants and cafes nearby. And the old Town is just a 5 minute walk.

  Very interesting, but easy to the eye & exiciting design of the apartment in general. Spacious, a lot of artworks around. Sofas were comfortable and cool, kitchen well equipped – good coffee also provided. Large modern bathroom & fireplace with firewood supplied – very nice extra touch. Although mostly windows towards the sky, a nice balcony with a great view of part of the old town & TV tower. Also nicely designed with flowers. In general, a real hidden gem. Would definently stay here again.
